Cromwell Lodge Hotel by Greene King Inns

The property is ideally placed in the centre of the town. The staff were lovely. Certain aspects of the decor were good. Others needed attention. However price of room fair.

Entrance from car park could be more inviting. Breakfast room a little cramped.

The car park computer wasn't working.. I was told I may end up with a parking ticket I would have to get cancelled. We'll see.

Couldn't get access Apparently last check in is 11:30 or thereabouts. This is not highlighted on the booking form

It was fantastic from start to finish , wonderful room , allowed dogs pretty much everywhere , they sat with us at breakfast in a designated area , staff amazing , Maria was amazing , posted my shoes I left behind , was wonderful to our dogs , the breakfast was awesome , deffinately staying again ! THANKS MARIA

Hotel generally was good.

staff very polite, friendly, professional, but it must be disheartening to work in such a shabby environment

Overall the place needs a full refurb; very shabby with worn carpets, upholstery in the room. Some amateur redecoration had been done - paint splashes on shower room floor, missed bits on skirtings etc. Hence rating below the scores on the individual "aspects" as you didn't ask about that.

La struttura e posizionata in un punto strategico della cittadina attorno trovi di tutto dal supermercato ai vari punti di ristoro, il personale super accogliente pronto ad ogni richiesta gentilezza e simpatia da parte di tutto lo staff.

L unica mia lamentela se cosi si puo dire e che ho preso due camere una di queste e piu piccola rispetto all altra il pavimento avallato infatti non potevo tenere la valigia alzata perche scivolava proprio per il problema nel pavimento bagno piu piccolo rispetto all altra e meno accogliente sempre rispetto all altra parlo della stanza numero 19 mi sarei aspettato una differenza di prezzo visto la netta differenza con l altra stanza

Food was nice but the service was very slow, the room was ok though very small and although there was a warning on the booking that the hotel does host events so there maybe some noise, the marquis was right outside the window and the noise was very loud until 10.30

Service for breakfast and dinner was slow, and a lot of noise from staff standing around chatting loudly especially at breakfast.
