Cromwell Lodge Hotel by Greene King Inns

Needed updating and rooms basic. Bed comfortable but unfortunately it was the end of June heatwave and room was unbearably hot.

Small rooms trapped the heat.

Friendly helpful staff

I particularly did not like the shower and washbasin having inadequate plumbing, thus hot water supply was poor, i did report this, and was told it was a old system and couldn't be improved

It was messy around the place, especially outside a lot of plastic flowers, old wood, it could use some clean up.

We love that Greene King pubs are committed to being trailblazers in inclusion in hospitality.

Comfy clean room, good breakfast

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is very central.

The room was a bit too cramped.

Really enjoyed our stay! Staff were very kind, friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was tasty and the bed was comfy. We came back late after a wedding nearby and the hotel was great about facilitating this and letting us have our key early and even put our bags up in the room for us. We’d definitely stay here again.

The property is ideally placed in the centre of the town. The staff were lovely. Certain aspects of the decor were good. Others needed attention. However price of room fair.

Entrance from car park could be more inviting. Breakfast room a little cramped.
