Lovely hotel with a lovely team of staff. Comfortable big bed and good sized room. Food was amazing from the breakfast, dinner and a brilliant Sunday lunch. Free parking at the rear of the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Everything you need in there including ironing board and iron. Very comfortable bed. We ate in, in tbe evening. Great food especially due to the discount because of booking with booking .com.The breakfast was amazing too All beautifully done.We felt very at home. Thankyou.!! Will come again.

I have just returned home from a short break staying at the Cromwell Lodge Hotel. It is a lovely old building, perfectly located, with a great bar and dining area. The room was a little tired but absolutely spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and crisp, white bedding. What was simply outstanding, however, was the 'staff'. There were actual family members involved in the running of the hotel but everyone working there seemed part of one big welcoming family. Nothing was too much trouble at all even though, with lots of food intolerances, I was not the easiest of customers! The superb welcome they provided was just the same for anyone who walked through the doors. Amazing customer care which I have not seen to this level anywhere I have stayed.

Lovely helpful staff. Very nice full English breakfast. Tim at breakfast was very helpful. The bed was super comfortable. All in all a lovely little hotel at a very reasonable price.
