Hotel Cayman

The managers were beyond amazing! They treat you like family and made eveything about my time in Quito special. Can't recommend this place enough becuase of them. They were helpful with arranging day trips and drivers to take us.

After being let down by one hostel we found Hotel Cayman and the staff were more than welcoming and attended to our every needs despite us turning up quite late. Everything was so clean and the included breakfast had an amazing selection. I have nothing bad to say and would 100% stay again when visiting Quito. Thankyou so much!

The staff were wonderful and spoke perfect English! The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was lovely.

This is the most friendly, welcoming hotel you may ever stay in. The ladies who run the hotel are extraordinarily friendly, kind, and helpful. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Its small, it feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel. The breakfasts are super fresh, varied, hearty, and delicious. The patio outside in the garden is beautiful and tranquil. Filtered water is available at all times. It is a great base for exploring the City, even though the surrounding neighborhood is a bit dodgy, especially if you are a woman traveling solo. They arranged a taxi for us for the airport, and for all-day excursions out of town for a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend it.

This place is amazing I loved every second of it. The warm and welcoming staff not only that but they also gave me great advice about the city even called me a taxi for the airport. The food was served warm with delicious fruit and natural juice and coffee. Even the cleaning done to the room was outstanding everything was super clean with fresh sheets every morning. When i return to Quito i have to come back to this amazing hotel. Definitely recommend it

This is a lovely hotel with plenty of facilities and a modern, but characterful finish. The whole property is spotlessly clean and the staff work really hard to keep it that way. Attention to food hygiene is also very high. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. We experienced this right from the initial booking (with excellent communications), during some necessary rearrangements and throughout the stay. They cannot do enough to help you and are there at all hours to ensure your stay goes smoothly. There is quite large and well-kept garden which guests can use, as well as a nicely decorated lounge and dining area. The breakfasts were some of the best we had during our 6-weeks stay in South America - really tasty with eggs, plenty of lovely bread and croissants, fruit, cheese & meats etc. They had gone to a lot of trouble to meet our very specific dietary requirements. They got it right first time, every time and without being reminded (something that we didn't experience at many other places). Our rooms were quite compact but as well-finished and clean as the rest of the hotel and equipped with a safe (although the operating instructions need updating). The shower had a good temperature and reasonable flow. WiFi was generally good (but did go down for a while during our stay). The property is well located, very close to a variety of bars, shops and restaurants. We stayed for two separate periods, before and after a Galapagos trip and the hotel stored some baggage for us between stays. They also sorted out airport transfers very efficiently. Complimentary coffee, water and bananas are available throughout the day. Many thanks to Vivi and the team for such a wonderful stay! We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending this hotel.

Very friendly staff (Vivi and Anabel) who provide personal care. 24/7 tea and coffee + bananas for free. Good location.

Variety for breakfast could be better (same choice all the time, no meat and desert options). You need to ring a bell each time you leave/enter the property (I guess this is the same for all hotels in Quito). Overall this was an excellent stay.

well, everyone saying the staff was nice is an understatement. they are extremely caring, friendly and they go out of their way to help you and feel welcome, even just little things. we had a wonderful stay for two nights. the room is so beautiful and very clean and comfy. breakfast was nice too. also the location of the hotel is right in a well known cute tourist area where there is loads and loads of really nice restaurants (lots of veggie options)!

it's quite cold inside (not the hotels fault - it's in almost all the houses/restaurants/hotels in Quito), so dont forget to bring slippers. In the evening they therefore start the fireplace which is lovely to sit in the common area.

Breakfast was great. Coffee from coffee maker. Bread was good. Fruit excellent per usual in Ecuador. Eggs made to guest liking. Kitchen very clean. Could eat breakfast in beautiful gardens Bed was comfortable. Duvet with cover was used with great pillow. Was pleasantly surprised. Hotel very clean. Staff welcoming.
