Hotel Cayman

The staff, specifically anabel, viviana, were wonderful.

Water was lukewarm at best.

Feels like living in a family - I stayed a whole week and the staff were the nicest people you can which for. They cared for breakfast/lunch package, room/facilities abd for coming abd going safely. Beatiful building, rooms abd garden, in the niddle of the Mariscal Sucre tourist area, restsurants, vars, markets, shops nearby.

This little hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable with a beautiful, tranquil garden in an urban area. The rooms are small but very comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is basic but fine. It's also a great location and is surrounded by nice restaurants. I would highly recommend Hotel Cayman and would definitely stay again.

I had a great stay at Hotel Cayman. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was right by Plaza Foch (but on a peaceful side street). The service was especially outstanding, and the price was more than reasonable. Highly recommend.

The Hotel Cayman is an European owned and family operated Hotel with excellent service, clean comfortable rooms, a rich delicious breakfast, and very friendly and helpful staff. There's a nice garden in the back with hummingbirds, it is also a great place to just relax. The hotel is a very pleasant, affordable and convenient option in the wonderful city of Quito. The location is perfect (a short walk to Plaza Foch, and since it is located in a busier area, there is added security in the form of a locked gate): close to many restaurants, coffee places, touristic bus stop, and handicrafts market and an added bonus, the Wi-Fi works great. But the most important thing is the wonderful and warm attitude of the staff, they were very helpful and always smiling. They really represent the characteristic kindness of Ecuadorian people. Although we arrived very late, when we got to the hotel I was greeted by name, and led to our rooms immediately, which we all appreciated as we were exhausted and weary from the journey. Reception was very quick to enable us to fall into bed. The room wasn’t large, but it was sparkly clean and fresh, nicely decorated, and the bed and pillow were very comfortable and the towels were large and fluffy – we did not require ample space as we were only we staying one evening so we did not really unpack. There is also a common area with a TV, movies, and games that guests are welcome to use, and you can store your bags at the hotel if you're traveling outside of Quito but plan to return. If you're looking for a good place to sleep - go to Cayman, I really recommend this hotel! The delicious chocolates that they leave on the pillows are also a nice touch!

I stayed at the Cayman for 2 days on the front and 2 days at the end of my trip. It was a great place to stay with wonderful and helpful service from everyone and there is always someone at the front desk for your assistance. The location is perfect because it is near everything without being in the middle of the busy tourist areas. It is a lovely place to stay.

Beautful secure quiet hotel three blocks from Fochs Square. I had room 4 which is just off breakfast area and had garden view. Wifi worked well. Bathroom is a little small which is comon in Ecuador. No tv or phone which I consider a plus. Could use a table and chair but other than that a good place to stay.

We stayed at Cayman Hotel at both ends of our trip to Ecuador a few years ago, so it was an easy choice to stay there again on our trip this year. Very comfortable, friendly, great breakfast in a pleasant courtyard, and great location on a quiet street close to tourist amenities.
