Hotel Cayman

We liked just about everything at this small boutique hotel near Plaza Foch in Quito. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, always with a smile. The place was spotless and they served a complete breakfast, all fresh and nicely presented. The price was so reasonable- we will definitely return there the next time we are in town!

Great location, secure (gate is always locked and there is always staff available to let guests in), friendly staff who speak English. The rooms that face the street are a bit noisy (they do offer free ear plugs).

The hotel is very nice base to explore nerby attractions. Very friendly hosts. Walter is also a great guide with thorough knowledge of the place. Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfasts are delicious. I highly reccomend this place.

The Cayman Hotel is a small nice and not expensive hotel in the Mariscal district with many restaurants and not very distant from the old town (15 min by taxi for 5 Dollars). A drawback is only that the rooms (at least our chamber) are rather small.

Hotel nice and comfortable but noisy on the street side. We would recommend it anyway because it is located in a quiet area with shops and restaurants in the proximity. Their breakfest is hearty and the service faultless.

Yo soy viajera mundial que visitó más que 77 países. Pase mucho tiempo en los hoteles en varios países de Italia, Chile, Argentina y mucho más....y ahora paso 4 noches en Cayman Hostel. Mi experiencia es inolvidable. Todo esta perfecto en este lugar. Primero el personal especialmente los dueños Halina y Walter son súper amables, todo es muy limpio, tienen las cams confortables, el desayuno también es muy rico, y el jardín es precioso. Me siento en casa aquí.

We spent a couple of nights at Cayman Hotel. It is perfect run family hotel. Airport transfers, nice rooms, good breakfast, city tour with Wanda or Walter. Highly recomended for small groups or individuals.

Very cozy little hotel.Sparkly clean,simple,colorful.The property decorated with so much details and blending in colors,plants everywhere,beautiful little backyard.In the center of a city yet very serene and quiet place.Fruit and tea\coffee downstairs always ready for you complimentary.The rooms quite small but sparkly clean and fresh,bed and pillow very comfy.My scrambled eggs for breakfast was made very well and moist and my friend had very fluffy veggie omelet.Very friendly staff.Absolutely worth the price.

Stayed only 1 night at Hotel Cayman. What a Gem! Located in the trendy ‘Mariscal Sucre’ neighborhood: restaurants , bars and close access to the historic center , Teleferico (tram), Mt.Panecillo lookout point , etc. Very clean hotel , breakfast area, rooms, bathrooms , common areas. Quiet, elegant but accesible . Lovely outdoor terrace to watch hummingbirds / birds ! Everything is kept looking new ! Incredible maintenance . The staff was always helpful , courteous and friendly . Kevin , Renato and Jalina were all lovely. Well worth what I paid for ! Breakfast is delicious ! Coffee and tea included all day. Free WiFi throughout . Laundry services ava make at a very reasonable price .
