Hillbrook Inn & Spa

Great style Android atmosphere.

Stayed here as part of a group for a few days. We were on two different sites, a few miles apart which did mean some driving was necessary. The grounds and main hotel building are lovely. There is a very pleasant bar/sitting room area when you go in. I wouldn't describe my room as 'luxury' but it was very comfortable, with lovely views. The bathroom was small, clean and sufficient. We had one evening meal here which was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the salmon. The host was very engaging and all of the staff very professional, if at times a little stretched. A very good experience and wish I had had more time to walk around the grounds and see more of the deer.

We love this little paradise in West Virginia. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

WOW! What a gem of a location. Could have spent DAYS here. Beautiful historic charm, with a touch of boutique vibes. Food was incredible, and staff was great. I wish we got more time to explore their 17 acres of land!

Pillows & Sheets were a little uncomfortable, and TV could have been closer to bed. We had to ask for bartender, but they were still amazing. Best espresso martini I've had in a while!

Highly recommend. Spent 2 nights for wife's birthday. Charming Inn, we really enjoyed our stay and exploring the surrounding area. Dog loved it too.

On arrival we were greeted by Emma, who showed us around, where to for breakfast etc, & the location of our room. She shared restaurant recommendations & some of the history of the Inn. She was very pleasant as was Blake who also was in attendance. Our room was adequate, & the bed was very comfortable. The entrance to our room the mat at the front door was very dirty & could do with a clean. Also when I wanted to open the window’s for some fresh air the sill’s had lots of dead bugs that hadn’t ever been cleaned. This is not luxury. The grounds were kept well. The restaurant is overpriced, It was certainly no 5*

Went here for one night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Stayed in the Lockes nest room above the restaurant in the main building. Nice room , spacious with a firm bed. Wife had a facial in the spa while I explored the grounds. Quiet and pretty surroundings. Had a great dinner at the inn. Started with a salad and the crab soup. Wife had the lamb chops I had the steak. Everything was cooked well. Split a piece of cheesecake for dessert. Service was friendly and efficient. No rushing you here. Very nice experience and about one hour from Baltimore and DC. Will definitely be going back.

My husband and I wanted a quiet place to decompress. Hillbrook Inn was a perfect place. It was so quiet and in nature. The food at the Inn was also excellent. Definitely will recommend this inn to anyone just to do nothing and be in nature.
