Sorell Hotel Rigiblick - Studios & Spa Suites

I used to live in this area so we wanted to stay around this place. The room was big and we got a baby bed for our request but that’s all I can say positively.

First, it was not clean, it even had food from previous visitors. Secondly, there was no personal and it was not communicated. Third, when we finally reached someone on the phone, she didn’t give all information we needed for our stay (forgot to mention our cards won’t open the main door, so we had to figure it out by ourselves 10pm luckily finding another gast that opened for us). Forth, the 0/24 phone availability is not true, tried to reach for half an hour the first night locked out of the building, no one answered. Fifth, the furnishing was not very comfortable and the room needs partly renovation as well, the air conditioner was not really doing its job either. For this price we would expect better service and it is a pitty that no one takes care of this hotel, it has potential but we were greatly disappointed by almost everything.

Turned out that breakfast had to be preordered in the morning of the previous day. When we arrived at 2pm it was already too late, so we missed out.

Checkin and checkout anonymous, no help there. The adjacent restaurant is helpful however they have nothing to do with the hotel and it’s not their job. The room Pilatus is great, beautiful and very large. Bed comfy. Views over the city great. Bed reading lamps short circuited the entire room and could not be used. Toilet glass door sounds like it will break out of its hinges, we did not dare close it. Bathroom sink does hardly drain. No one at reception to ask for help.

No staff, restaurant we couldn't get a drink or food after on long travel from uk as it was book for a private function wish we were told in advance as nothing around to eat !!

The location and the facility itself were excellent. Our room was beautiful and it was located right at the top of the Finicula. Additionally, all of the items in the minibar were included

This is a self service/self check in facility and the Booking.com listing does not make that clear

It was huge and modern and the view was amazing. I’d say more but I’d like to keep it a bit of a secret so I can stay there again next time.

There is nothing we didn’t like.
