Beautiful and spacious room, very comfortable

No door to the bath and no AC.

The room impressed us. In fact, the word "room" doesn't do this justice - it is very special indeed. It gives one a feeling of luxury and abundance, with all the special spa-like facilities. And the location is fantastic, close to the centre but high above the city-bustle and near the cablecar station and at the edge of a beautiful wooded area suitable for nice strolls. Very nice restaurant on-site. Obviously, the price reflects the luxury and the fact that this is Zürich.

Personally, I would prefer an "analog" check-in process with a real person rather than the online check-in. Breakfast can be ordered but only one day in advance, so when one arrives at the end of the afternoon that's unfortunately but understandably not possible anymore.

Room was like a small apartment. Huge windows.Fabulous. Staff that was actually on site were great.

Only staff on site were the wonderful housekeepers. Self check-in. The people from Sorrell never returned several emails, could be reached only by phone and they provided incorrect information repeatedly. Hotel website states noon check-in. I was not allowed to enter until 3. 3 hours standing around in rain. And code to enter building given 3x, 3 different codes. Last 1 worked.

Hot tub, sauna and steam shower are great. Bedding was like sleeping in clouds.

Unpleasant stains all around, especially on the itchy and incredibly low sofa. Broken bidet and bed on wheels and no way to secure it from moving. There was also quite a bit of dust build up on the headrest.
