Don't know why I'm being asked this as my booking was cancelled by the hotel with less than 24 hours notice.

The hotel cancelled our booking a few hours before we were due to arrive, less than an hour after sending us a message welcoming us and providing instructions about the check-in process. Unfortunately the message only came via the Booking.com chat and no effort was made to ensure we'd received it, so we didn't see it until we arrived at the hotel after a very long day of travelling. The reason given was that renovations were taking longer than expected - given the state of the place when we arrived this would've been known well in advance, so it's ridiculous that they waited so late to tell us, giving us very few options. The woman on the phone was entirely unhelpful. Speaking to locals they all said this hotel has a dodgy reputation in the town, and it's clear why.

Budynek z zewnątrz jest ładny, dobrze, że właściciele zdecydowali się na remont obiektu, w części, która jeszcze nie została objęta remontem, było generalnie czysto i zadawalająco w tej cenie. Ładna lokalizacja, dobry dojazd, można by było bardziej zadbać o teren wokół obiektu, postawić nowe ławki itp.

Szkoda tylko, że pomimo zapytania obsługi z trzy tygodniowym wyprzedzeniem o dostępność do mikrofali, otrzymałam informację, iż jest ona dostępna, a jak się okazało po przyjeździe, przez remont nie było dostępu do niej, ani śniadań.

Das Zimmer Paddok mit dem wunderbaren Bett war große Klasse, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Bad mit Badewanne war nach einer langen Wanderung geradezu umwerfend.

Nicht schön war, aber das ist eigentlich keine Kritik, das außen Baustelle war und der eigentlich wunderschöne Blick, durch Mülltonne und Baumaterial versperrt war. Manchmal muss eben gebaut werden.

Il n’y avait personne pour nous accueillir, sauf des instructions et des codes. Le tapis de la chambre était taché à plusieurs endroits et le lit craquait. J’étais seule dans cette partie de l’hôtel. Le 2e soir, il y avait une autre personne dans la chambre près de la mienne et j’entendais tout ce qu’elle faisait. Quand j’ai voulu prendre ma douche, cette dernière était très sale, il n’y avait plus de tapis de bain ni de serviette pour les mains. Ma serviette de chambre n’avait pas été remplacée non plus. J’ai envoyé un message au propriétaire mais il m’a répondu ne pas avoir de personnel pour le moment et que ça irait à demain. Il m’a donné des instructions pour aller dans le bâtiment principal et récupérer les éléments dont j’avais besoin. Le bâtiment est en pleine rénovation et il y avait des matériaux un peu partout. J’ai dû déplacer un matelas pour monter à l’étage. J’ai trouvé plein de choses empilées n’importe comment dans le garde-robe et je n’ai rien récupéré dans ce fouillis.

There was a yellowjacket nest just outside the door, there wasn’t housekeeping staff available to switch out our used shower towels, the trash cans were not big enough, the shower floor was slippery enough to fall, and the kitchenette wasn’t working like they said it would in the listing info

Good location.

The room had spider webs and dead bugs. We were moved to another room without any notice. There was also ongoing construction that we weren’t informed about in advance. The bathroom fan didn’t work and the bedside light kept blinking. The hotel really needs to improve cleanliness, maintenance, and communication.
