Rising Sun Hotel by Greene King Inns

Good location for those hiking Cotswolds Way.

Shower temp/pressure very temperamental. Room very outdated and troubles with the tv. Even the artwork was hung upside down. Food in the pub downstairs was a big letdown too for the price

Loved the location. Very comfortable beds. Very friendly efficient staff. Super breakfast and nice evening meal.

Slightly tired decor. Possibly benefit from a bit more comfortable seating in bar area for older visitors.

Good location for Winchcombe.

Road noise & noise from within the hotel kept me awake most of the night.

Fabulous location on Cotswold Way walking path and exceptional views. Comfortable bed and old world windows you can open to smell the flowers. Helpful staff.

Shower was too complicated to use. Food was pretty ordinary.

Hotel has beautiful views and plenty of parking if taking a car. Breakfast was made to order. No waste and freshly prepared. All staff more than willing to help. We checked in early as we had a wedding and to our surprise we got the room early which was vey much appreciated.

Hotel is a little dated. But room was clean and tidy.

The Rising Sun is in a great location - fantastic views over Cheltenham and the valley and on to the mountains and hills beyond. Ideal spot for sunset watching, despite the pub's name! Small-ish rooms but very comfortable, good showers and friendly staff - good value for money, too.

Loved the outdoor environment. And we were able to sit on the sofa and enjoy some of the sun when it got too cold at the end of the day.

There were underwear on the floor of the bathroom left behind by previous guest.

Comfortable bed. Very clean. Good breakfast, parking and views. Very good for walkers on the nearby hills. Nice temperature in the room and hotel, as it was a cold day there was pleasant heating.

Decor a bit 'tired'. Too many stairs to my room. I will ask for a more accessible room next time - would stay again.

Amazing views and location spot on. Check in staff very friendly as we're all the staff. Bed comfortable.
