On a bit of a hill but that can’t change

Excellent breakfast that was well cooked and plenty of choices. Gluten free well catered for. Room was comfortable and a good size. Amenities were great and bathroom was generous. Lovely homemade brownies and cookies.

Nick was a lovely host very welcoming. Room was lovely with a nice view and had everything we needed plus water and homemade beautiful cakes. Great breakfast too. Thank you Nick.

The hill was a little steep

The accommodation is within easy access to the centre of Bowness on windermere but further enough away to be lovely & quiet.The grounds were beautiful with lost of seating outside to sit & enjoy the sunshine !! The room was lovely & the bathroom a good size & the shower was amazing. Nick the owner sent us a text asking when we were arriving as he had been able to get the room ready a little earlier so it meant we could unpack & spend more time in Bowness on Windermere. There were little added touches such as a small fridge at the top if the stairs with small bottles of fresh milk & water in which we could use & he also provided either homemade cookies or cake in the afternoon to enjoy, which we did with a cup of tea. There was a good choice of cold breakfast items I.E cereals, yogurt, fruit etc & we also could choose a full english breakfast or tailor make from the items listed & they also offer a hot vegetarian breakfast. Nick made us feel extremely welcome & went out of his way to help us. All in all we had a brillaint stay & would stay again.

Bit difficult to locate, but we missed the sign, nick was on the ball and sent full directions, penthouse suite, so beautifully done, and everything we needed. Great location. Amazing gardens, breakfast was 100% perfect, choices, and plentiful plate, and red hot. We will be back.

Everything was good. Staff really helpful and engaging. Homebaked cakes provided daily were superb.

Nice location, comfortable room, great breakfast and excellents hosts. Great tip on the route into the town to avoid big hill!

Nothing not to like only good things to say. Would definately stay again in the future.

It was a beautiful kept quaint house with gorgeous gardens which felt homely. The room was well equipped and breakfast was delicious. We had the loft room and would like to visit again when the weather is nice to enjoy the garden.
