Peru Star Apart-Hotel

Everything was perfect.

Just a little man power was needed to bring your bags down, as there is no elevator and as there is so much nice stuff to buy in Lima...the bags were a bit heavy, this I did with the help of my colleague. We helped each other with the bags.

Location and price it was big and clean in a safe neighborhood

My studio was clean and well equipped. Comfortable bed and pillows. Easy check-in and check-out.

I was not able to use the pool, the main reason I chose this property. The bar/pool area looked somewhat abandoned. Wish they could have charged me directly in dollars rather than doing a soles conversion. I payed more than expected for one night.

This was a lovely place to spend a couple of days whilst on business in Lima. My room had a queen bed, a spacious bathroom, a fridge, dishes and cutlery. There is a nice al fresco restaurant on the ground level with nice options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Staff are gracious and helpful.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, especially the public areas. The small courtyard pool is surrounded by colorful flowers. The only downside: my airport pickup did not arrive. Had to call and wait a while late at night,

The room was super clean and fresh scented, and the personnel were helpful and kind. The location is also excellent. The bedroom had everything we could need including bottled water. One thing we didn’t like was the loud music by the pool starting at 8 am and until past 11 in the evening. Also, we could hear a kid crying full night in the next room. I understand not much can be done about the kid crying, but I am surprised that the neighbours and other hotel guests would not complain about the music. The area is pretty residential so really unexpected. I asked the reception to turn it off by 11 pm and they did but I wonder what about the morning—I am a morning person so not an issue for me but maybe for other people?

We took a trip in the middle of our stay and they keep the luggage we did not need and brought it to our room when we returned. The staff is great. Most of them speak English. They are extremely helpful. Our room included a kitchen and it made it really convenient to make our own food and have space to work and relax.

Towards the last leg of our Peru trip, I booked this place for two nights before we flew back to the states. My only regret is not staying for more days to enjoy it. Booked an apartment which included an upstairs area so our group of 7 fit comfortably. Big kitchen, big dining area and living room and front door access to the pool (we didn't use it since we visited during Peru's winter season). Walking in, you feel like you're in a small floral town due to the design of the hotel. I had family who live in Lima come over and they were completely amazed of the little oasis in the city. They took down the info so they can book it as a little getaway for themselves. The location was within walking distance of nice restaurant and a mall but Ubers and taxis are all over the place so no issue with getting around. It's not your traditional hotel but as a person who uses AirBnB, would recommend this place for longer stays since the place comes with a nice size kitchen, fridge and washer and dryer so you can do a lot for yourself. Definitely will use this place when I return to Lima.
