Peru Star Apart-Hotel

Some positives and negatives at Peru Star GREAT We stayed in the 2 bed unit. It was massive, had a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathroom and a comfortable lounge room. Although in need of a modern upgrade, we found it very comfortable. All staff were also helpful and worked hard to fix some issues. GOOD The pool was handy, but opened to the public and their dogs. There was a loud noisy party in the restaurant on Saturday and some children didn’t seem to know where the toilet was leaving the pool dirty. Also outside guests were smoking and drinking by the pool, not the type of environment for our young family. BAD The Wifi dropped out several times. Staff worked hard to provide us with a mobile wifi which worked briefly. This was an issue for us.

Lovely, quaint and comfortable stay at the heart of San Isidro. The rooms were very nicely laid out and with all amenities. The staff is friendly and helped us plan our stay and gave recommendations on places to see. There’s a shopping mall in walking distance and a fair number of eateries around the neighbourhood to enjoy local cuisine. easy access to get to Miraflores and surrounding neighbourhoods. Highly recommended and will stay here again if i am in Lima.

The hotel is well maintained and attention for the detail is certainly there. Staff is also good and so is food. Unfortunately, the lock of the room sounds like that of a medieval castle and it results impossible to not hear your neighbors when they come back or leave. Also, the windows are basically non existent as they are ultra thin and slide glass to glass. A nice place but not a hotel. If you are there for work or after a long flight avoid as you will be woken up by whoever and whatever and definitely do not count on sleep late or relax. .

Was a perfect place for a family of four. Highly recommend!

We stayed here the last night of our holidays in Peru. We were surprised. Beautiful courtyard where we could sit and eat. Decorated nicely with paintings, colors and plants. The whole place was tasteful decorated, the rooms as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wifi ok. Enough choice on the menu, good food. In the room we found crockery and an electric kettle. A kind of mini kitchen. Room was clean and big. I would return here any time!

This is really a lovely hotel. Clean, spacious, peaceful. The neighborhood is very safe, quiet. There isn't much to do, but at least there is no street noise and you can walk around freely. (There is a large mall 5 minutes walk away) I can't quite describe the layout of the various apts. inside but there are several stairways that go off in different directions so that your apt feels very private, very cozy. The pool (and the garden in back) is lovely. The owners were exceptionally kind and really helped me out when I had a problem unrelated to the hotel. During my time here I felt very relaxed, very safe. I would not hesitate to recommend Peru Star or to return myself.

Due to our connecting flight back to San Francisco at Lima airport getting delayed until midnight, we needed to get out of the airport and spend 1 extra day in Lima, which we had visited at the beginning of our trip. I decided to use the spotty airport wifi to do a last minute booking for 1 room nearby so the 5 of us could keep our luggage and shower. And that's how we discovered this gem. If you travel with family to Lima, this is where you should stay. The San Isidro neighborhood is much less busy and polluted (as compared to the central Lima District). The staff were super nice and friendly, and their restaurant cooking was surprisingly good. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Lima

The hotel is beautiful. I love local hotels like this. I arrived quite late, and they still were very accommodating. I would stay again. There was an issue with the water, but nothing I couldn't work around.

A really good hotel to stay in while you are in Lima, Peru! It does not cost as much. The view from the window is really nice. There is a pool and a restaurant. A romantic place for couples to stay in. If you are planning on staying in this hotel for a long time, there is a kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and dishes. Our room was pretty big and nice (4 people). There are three beds, two are separate and one is joined. Beds are comfortable and have cute pillows. There are a lot of flowers outside. There is Wi-Fi, but it doesn't work well in the far bedroom. There is cold and hot water and pretty soaps that smell very good. Overall I really liked this hotel!
