Peru Star Apart-Hotel

This placed is well located, very close to a nice Mall , shopping, eating, everything you need is close by. Staff is very helpful and friendly, I've been in this place three times so far with my wife and location is very good for the price, rooms are clean and staff very kind.

Since we were there for 8 days they gave us the 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen. Very good service and pleasant people. They helped us get taxis when needed although Uber is available in Lima. The Hotel is located in a very nice part of Lima and quite central to everything. Quiet neighborhood. The restaurant Bonbonnaire (sp?) is down the street and has great meals.

First time in this hotel in San Isidro. The hotel is near the Salaverry Mall and is in residential San Isidro. It is two blocks from the main road, Avenida Javier Prado. Far from the beaches and the tourist areas. The food served is authentic Peruvian cuisine and surprisingly good. The only downside was that there was work being done in the hotel and quite loud after 830 am. No respect for the guests.

Nice hotel, the restaurant serves good food. The hotel WiFi works sporadically around the buidling. It goes on and off and is frustrating if you are using the hotel for business. The hotel is a great value.

We stayed here on the first 2 nights and the last night of our South American adventure We really didn't want a big corporate hotel. We wanted something Peruvian and this hotel has lots of colour In a quiet side street in the business district of San Isidro, we were handy for everywhere. 10 soles in an uber We went to the centre when we arrived and the coast, the day we left . We had breakfast by the pool among the flowers and birds. Juice, fruit, granola eggs coffee bread and jam. We also had great food and wine in the evenings We choose the biggest apartment which basically was a house with a front door to the garden. A double room and 2twin rooms as well as a sitting room ,dining room and fully equipped kitchen we didn't use but it was long very to have the space We also got a good priced late check out which meant we could name the most of our last day Excellent and highly recommended but make sure you have the address as it's hidden away 2 taxi firms are in the airport before you exit baggage. Green taxis much hyped but30 min wait and direct taxis on the left ( red and blue) excellent at 60 sols. In Lima and back to airport. Uber all the way .

Although not central this was a good choice for our first two nights in Peru. We liked the friendly ambience and the Peruvian character of the hotel as opposed to a bland, modern chain establishment. The breakfast was excellent; served to our table, with a choice of eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the night receptionist was particularly helpful in arranging a taxi for us at 5 o'clock in the morning.

1st stay: As soon as we entered the room some weird smell hit us. It smelled all 4days. View from the room is great, location as well. Bed was worn (pumpy and lumpy). The layout did not make sense either. There was two huge leather chairs next to the entrance, then bed, and then kitchenette. There was only one chair behind small table next to kitchenette so only one person could eat at the table. Floor around the bed was worn as well and paint was peeling off and that ended up sticking to our feet and transferred all around the place and in bed. Bathroom itself was nice but it echoed so loud what was happening in there and since the head of the bed is against the bathroom wall it was a nightmare if someone used the bathroom at night. (Stayed at room 15) 2nd stay: I stayed here once more, room 5, and everything is good, nothing smells, floor does not stick to my feet. Little kitchen area separate from the rest making sleeping area remain food free. And toilet is not against the head board so nothing wakes me up in the bathroom at night. Staff was friendly.

I was traveling through Lima for one night and searched for a dog friendly hotel as I was adopting a dog from Peru. Daniel and Lesly were both very helpful when making the reservation and arranging airport transportation. Upon arrival I was checked in to an upgraded apartment room with kitchenette and living area which was beyond my expectations. The restaurant was very cute and had wonderfully fresh maracuya sours and good food. The neighborhood was also very nice. I would stay here again if I am in Lima and would recommend, especially if traveling with a dog.

Despite the slightly less than plush look to the hotel reception area, the apartments are large, nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast is simple but pleasant - although maybe not plentiful enough for those with large appetites or who were planning to skip lunch. Staff were extremely helpful, even moving our apartment when we turned out to be underneath an active and early-rising toddler. There is a shopping mall a couple of streets away with a huge supermarket and the neighbouring streets were safe to walk around, with a scattering of shops and restaurants.
