Surfers Riverside

Our experience at Surfers Riverside Apartments was very pleasant. They rooms were very modern and tidy, had everything that we required. The staff were very nice and very helpful. The location was good. I will definitely stay here again.

Prior reviews are fairly accurate. It is not brand new or 5 star, but it is cheap, very spacious and great location! The apartment is worn and fairly old. We stayed 2 nights and rooms did not get serviced. A small drawer in the coffee table contained rubbish from a previous guest (including socks). The couches have not been vacuumed in the gaps between cushions. However, this was one of the largest apartments I had ever stayed in on the coast. The main room had an ensuite. The spare room had two single beds and space between. There was a dining table area and a large U-shaped couch to seat six (or sleep another 2). A balcony ran the entire length of the apartment. Parking is free, undercover and secure via remote garage. Bedding was clean, tiles and bathrooms were clean. Kitchen was clean. If traveling from Brisbane, I recommend packing extra towels, toilet paper, cutlery etc.

Has every thing you needed the only thing could do with a few more utensils like a baking dish to make cooking easier but other wise perfect could not fault it :)

Our family had a great time on the gold coast weather was fantastic the hotel was close to all public transport. We went to all the major theme parks kids loved them. coming back to the hotel and relaxing in the wonderful pool barbequing for dinner ended our days nicely.

We arrived from Sydney and reached the unit at 9pm. As it was a late check in, I was told that the keys will be in the key cupboard located outside. There was no key. I rang the after hours contact and was told to come to reception. Exhausted from the trip, I was told that "the computer made a mistake". The room wasn't ready as the 'computer' is saying that we were not suppose to check in until the next day! Despite the fact that I rang the day before and the same woman confirmed our check in date!!! The bunk bed is located in the lounge room. The bottom bunk collapsed because the slats weren't installed properly. When we asked to check out at 12pm, I was told that I will be charged $50 even after the inconvenience earlier. Would I recommend this place???

Absolutely brilliant!!! Apartments were spotless (we had 3 apartments over a family group of 9. Apartments had everything we could possibly need, pool and poolside view was amazing and the apartments were very central. We were a 10 minute walk to Surfers Paradise beach and Cavill Mall, and literally minutes to bus stops to all major theme parks. We had restaurants, shops (Woolworths) and bottle shops within an easy 2 -5 minute stroll. Management (Lily, the lovely manager) was very helpful with theme park bookings and storing luggage after we checked out and before flight took off and when one of our party managed to leave a suitcase behind, she was fantastic and organised a cab to bring case to the airport where we managed to meet it and still make our flight. Will definitely stay there again and would recommend apartments to anyone looking for a lovely, central, fully equipped place to stay. Fantastic for families!!Very impressed.
