Pearl Garden Hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff, smiling faces and very good staff service

located on Adriatico in the Malate district. Very close to a major shopping centre - Robinsons - with lots of small restaurants - Yakanuki Japanese across the road serving great tuna and salmon sushimis. Very quiet street [compared to some] - you just ignore the Korean karioki clubs

It rained every day..other than that my stay was very pleasant..i will use this hotel again...and would recommend them to others..as well.

Overall the Malate and Metro Manila are very dirty areas, with garbage piles all over the place. The hotel is located close to all the night entertainments and would suit single men travelers well. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

Pros: friendly, helpful staff; the inside of the hotel was well-maintained; having free hot breakfast was a great plus Cons: no 3-prong outlet except near doorway which is a major inconvenience for computer work. Also, the wifi signal was weak--for example, sending phone text internationally using the wifi was erratic.

Hotel and staff is above average, breakfast is adequate but internet service is poor.

The room nice for price one of the better hotel around the area, the breakfast was ok almost the same thing every day maybe one or two items different.

At Perl Garden you get a room that is like a 5 star hotel room for the price of a 3 star hotel.

We stayed in an executive suite which is a great space with a sofa, armchair and coffee table which meant you did not have to sit on the bed all the time. We found the room a little dated and very dark.......poor lighting. Bathroom had a bath plus a large shower with great water pressure. Our room was at the front of the building and noisy throughout the night from the traffic and party goers.The best thing about this hotel are the staff they are very friendly and helpful. Doorman will organise your cab driver make sure he is a metered cab and knows exactly where you want to go.

Cheap Hotel that is not bad for the price. Situated in a seedy part of Manila it is a little old but comfortable. Robinson Mall is a short walk and taxis are easily obtained. Breakfast was okay, but as with many phillipine hotels these days is more targeted at Korean guests. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would I stay again? Yes because it is such good value.
