Pearl Garden Hotel

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. My wife and I stayed for a week and it's conveniently located near Robinson's shopping complex, and close to the airport and Mall of Asia. The room was clean and well maintained, and the service from the staff was excellent. The area is a bit sketchy at night time, but security is good. Buffet breakfast was OK, not the same as a Western style breakfast, but the food was good and service excellent.

Nice hotel in it's time getting old and run down, need remodeling, breakfast same everyday!!!!

the local was good and all the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly...Only problem i had was with the wi fi not working a couple of occasions..Breakfast was ok and room was cleaned each day..

very shabby old 1960s hotel that was never renovated. It's a hotel with a clientel base of almost 100 percent asian. mostly korean and japanese. this by the hotels own admission. If you want a non smoking room. No problem they just remove the ashtrays and spary a little deoderant. There you go sir. Anything else I can do for you?

Do not rent a room here unless you are Asian. This is due to the almost "95%" clientele base of Asians as stated by reception. Is seems mostly Korean and all the local establishments cater to that type customer. I had requested a non smoking room and the hotel stated that they gave me one, however the previous customer (s), had been smokers and the room reeked of cheap cigarettes. The hotel simply took out the ashtrays and sprayed an offensive deodorizer in the room. I cancelled my remaining days and ran for the hills.

TAXI DRIVER TOOK A WHILE TO LOCATE THE HOTEL WHICH IS BACK FROM THE CORNER OF MALVAR ST .OLD HOTEL CRYING OUT FOR RENOVATIONS. HOWEVER THE FRIENDLY STAFF AND THE LOCATION VERY NEAR RESTAURANTS AND CLUBS AND THE LARGE ROBINSONS SHOPPING CENTRE MORE THAN MADE UP FOR ANY DRAWBACKS. WE ENJOYED OUR STAY

I was just passing through Manila for one night and booked to stay at the Pearl Garden - it is near the Bay of Manila - with its beautiful sunset - and close to a large shopping mall, in a bustling but safe part of Manila. The hotel is nice - not a 5 star - but it is clean and the bed was comfortable, which is the main thing. All the staff were so nice and friendly and it was a pleasure to stay there - even if was for only one night. I'll be returning to the Philippines in 6 months for a longer visit and I will definitely stay at the Pearl Garden again.

This property is in dire need of a renovation. Old rooms, furniture, and overall facilities. The bathroom had so much mold in the grout lines!! Some of the furniture was threadbare. We were not expecting a Sofitel level hotel, but think that hotels should keep a certain standard of cleanliness. The ONE saving grace of this hotel: the STAFF. They bent over backwards at <every> opportunity they could. A gracious "salamat" to the friendly and conscientious staff of the Pearl Garden!!

The hotel is close to shopping, attractions, and business venues. It is about 25 minutes from the airport. The staff are very helpful often going out of their way to accommodate guests. The breakfast was very nice and there is a café on the lower level although we did not eat there because of our schedule. The general area is a little run down and has a lot of KTV's.
