Staff was excellent and the room was clean.

This is perhaps the strangest hotel I have ever seen in my life. It is located in the crowded Red light Burgos street in Makati. The taxi driver who picked me up from the airport took almost 10 minutes driving through Burgos Street to find the hotel, and finally, he stopped in front of a nightclub called Cubana Café and asked the security man for the location of Royal Bellagio Hotel and the security man pointed towards a very small door attached to the Café. In front of this small entrance and on the terrace, there sat tens of men drinking, and the music was loud. Yes, funny, isn't it! That small door was the entrance to the hotel with fifteen floors, and the reception was on the third floor. My room was on the fifteenth floor, and it was quiet. The room was large and had full facilities. Unlike most hotels in Manila, housekeeping was regular and daily. Royal Bellagio Hotel is basically a 'love hotel' hired on a daily basis because of its location in the Red light street. It could be good for solo male travelers, but it's totally unacceptable for families with kids.
