Super diving resort with very friendly and attentive staff. Lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa was perfect for 4 of us. Would highly recommend

Incredible resort! Food was amazing! Staff were unlike any we've experienced anywhere; extremely attentive and helpful. Known for their dive shop, they did not disappoint. Valet diving at its best! Incredible beach and 3 separate pools. Spent 10 days in paradise. Thanks to Jennifer, Edward and especially Larry for their top-notch care! We would definitely return.

Property was idyllic and attentive staff. The only issue was the electrical power points in the room which made it hard to charge phones and computers.

Stayed at atmosphere from 26th January to 9th February. From the minute you arrive to the day you leave you are treated with warmth and a smiling face. The deluxe villa we stayed in is lovely and cleaned every day with fresh water available in your room. The food served in the Breeze Restaurant is exceptional and tasty and made and served with passion. Jacor, Annie and Gemma always had a smile and a greeting for us. The diving both locally and at Apo Island is some of the best in the world for Reefs, Marine life and critters to see and experience. My dive Guide Arjay was brilliant and could spot any critters on the sand, coral or muck banks. A great place also to relax after diving with a great bar!!

This is our second time staying and diving at Atmosphere Resort and once again 5/5 experience! The resort is excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The diving is great (if you love macro this is the place to be!) with a well run dive operation. The food is superb and the facilities - spa, villas etc excellent.

My wife and I stayed at Atmosphere Resort & Spa in January 2025- it is a very special place. We came for the wonderful scuba diving, which includes both muck and reef diving. The resort’s standard ratio of divers to dive guide is 4 to 1, but we had our own dive guide (Ian) assigned to the two of us for the whole 10 days we were there. The diving was exceptional, and, thanks to Ian, we saw so many critters that are either rare or nonexistent at other dive resorts we have been to. Within the first 10 dives, I saw the 3 bucket list critters on my list for this trip (blue-ringed octopus, flamboyant cuttlefish, and banded sea krait). We also saw lots of sea turtles, wonderpus, seahorses, lots of frogfish, coconut octopus, cuttlefish, juvenile harlequin sweetlips, candy crab, mantis shrimp, spiny tiger shrimp, banded pipefish (juvenile and adult), and numerous nudibranchs. Every dive was fantastic! In addition to diving, I also spent many hours snorkeling on the lovely house reef where I saw a moray eel, numerous sea turtles, sea anemones, cornetfish, lots of beautiful healthy coral, and countless tropical fish. They have many excursions on land and in water that you can choose from. We would have liked to go on some of the land excursions, but we weren’t willing to sacrifice a day of diving! We didn’t take advantage of the spa. Honestly, it was a bit more expensive than other resorts we’ve been to and anyway we came to dive. The grounds are gorgeous, and we saw staff attending to them all day long. The view from everywhere is stunning! Our room was spacious, clean, and very well thought-out (lots of outlets)! Perfect for those of us with lots of batteries to recharge. Every staff member we interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful. The food at Atmosphere was head and shoulders above every other dive resort we’ve been to. They have their own bakery, so you have fresh baked bread at every meal. They have an open kitchen, so you can watch them cooking your meal. Their menu was broad, with both European and Filipino delicacies. There were several items on the menu I really wanted to try, but never got around to ordering because I so frequently ordered the daily specials. The food was just insanely good! We are already talking about planning our next trip to Atmosphere!

Staying at the Atmosphere was a real treat. The environment and settings of this place were stunning. The snorkeling and mountain biking were well organized and great fun. But the best thing about this place where the people who own and run the Atmosphere . It’s all about the people!! A big thanks to Bee for facilitating the water based activities and to Larry for his excellent sundown cocktails. The food in the restaurant was Michelin standard-a big thank you to all the chefs and wonderful friendly staff - nothing is too much trouble Give the Atmosphere a try you will not be disappointed!!

We had poor experience but tried to keep this review focused on our overall impressions. Would not return, not special enough for money, but if diving main focus then may be a good option. Resort itself is a dive centre with accommodation, restaurant and spa, not a luxury resort. Dive centre appeared proficient (we didn’t use). The staff were friendly and eager to please but service not slick. Main restaurant offers too much choice and suffers from doing nothing well. For example, despite a pizza oven the result was more like toasted bread with some toppings. Ocean restaurant doesn’t really exist, just an upsell dining experience and food quality not worth the high costs. Room rustic rather than luxurious, bed uncomfortable, no curtains so light pollution severe and unfortunately there was building work noise well past darkness. Resort offers tours to nearby islands. There is no pier or dock to access boats for these trips, you have to wade out into sea and make way up precarious gangplank with rail held alongside. I’m over 6 feet and water well above my waist getting on and off and I found the whole process very stressful and was convinced I would fall. Sea was also rougher than we expected. Whilst there, both my wife and I suspect we had food poisoning, management argued it was a bug! Whatever it was ruined our stay, and to avoid similar problems I would encourage anyone staying to be very careful. The hygiene standards we saw at the Beach Bar for example below standard.
