The Royal Haciendas All Inclusive

This place was great. Food and drinks available 24/7. Multiple pools to choose from. Food, beverage and housekeeping staff we attentive to our requests. Everything we needed in one place, we didn't leave the resort! Cons: Bathroom shower head needed a deep clean and bathroom fan was loud. Otherwise, it was a wonderful time.

I liked everything, it was perfect

The staff was rude except the cleaning staff. And they keep trying to sell you timeshare after you express not to be intrested.

Good resort. Recommend for family. Good food good service and good lean rooms. Villa was awesome.

It was a nice location and facility, especially for children given the Kids' Club. The pools were great! The cleaning crew did a great job in rooms as well as getting rid of algae at the beach. But, there were many issues. Foremost, was that the food at the Palapa was terrible- no taste. It was closed for lunch so we had to rely on bar by pool which had a very limited menu. That food was also terrible- tasteless. Although there were two dinner restaurants, it was almost impossible to get reservations. I finally sought help from time share people to get us reservations. The food at the Asian restaurant was the worst I have ever tasted. We were not told that we would have to move rooms so we could not unpack after our first day. Then it was a comedy of errors trying to get the move done since the new keys were at first not available and then did not work. This required multiple trips to/from reception. I spent about two hours trying to sort this out. We rented four rooms and we asked to be contiguous rooms. We were assured they would be but it didn't happen. Only two rooms were contiguous and the other two were spread out. This was a problem since we were traveling for a family reunion and wanted to be next to each other. Although I kept complaining to the front desk about this, they just blamed it on Expedia and said that Expedia will guarantee anything just to make the sale. I know that is not true but that is what they said.

Nice and quiet

This was hands down one of the most disappointing resort experience my family has ever had From the start, we were given conflicting information about our rooms and pressured to pay extra to avoid being moved mid-stay. We were harassed into attending a sales pitch that was misrepresented (told 15 minutes, then forced into 90), and later charged full price for an excursion because of their lies. The website falsely advertises a beach that does not exist — it’s closed for years of repairs with no mention at booking. Service was equally unacceptable: staff refused basic requests (like bringing food), sold me sandals they wouldn’t unlock, and made restaurant reservations nearly impossible despite advertising multiple dining options. The worst part: my brother and his partner were targeted by another guest with discriminatory slurs and harassment. Instead of protecting them, the resort kicked them out while allowing the aggressor to stay. We later saw him comfortably dining at the property. That is beyond irresponsible — it’s shameful. This was supposed to be a family trip to honor my late mother, and it turned into a nightmare. Management showed zero accountability, zero honesty, and zero concern for guest safety. The only bright spot was Jeanette in the lobby, who genuinely tried to help — but one kind employee does not make up for systemic failures across this resort. Do yourself a favor: book elsewhere. This place is dishonest, unsafe, and absolutely not worth the money.

We had good time staying at the resort. The food was amazing and the staff always on top of cleaning. I would come back again.

Very limited dining options and very limited activities

The room had a bad smell very hard to sleep
