Grand Hotel Kazan

Classic Russian big hotel, if anyone has experienced that. Reception was good, room very spacious, location convenient at 2 minutes walking from the Metro, Bauman street (the pedestrian road of Kazan) and the Kaban lake. If you need anything the hotel is conected to a huge commercial centre, so all the services are at hand. Good value for money overall. Breakfast was abundant and served until 10.30 every day, even if the quality of the food was not impressive.

Acceptable hotel close to downtown, great reception personal, but if you like good food and nice ambient look for other better place.

Large Hotel, with zero atmosphere! Everything works but is outdated. Breakfast was ok. Definitely not a 4 star hotel nor Grand hotel.

Приехал в 12 часов дня.Сразу не заселили, сославшись на отсутствие номеров.Сказали подойти к 14 часам.Решил сдать багаж в камеру хранения.В ней не оказалось приемщика.Сказали,что он на обеде, и будет не известно когда. Рядом стояли люди, и сказали мне, что ждут уже 25 минут.Я столько ждать не собирался, и вызвал старшего.Вопрос закрылся, в течение,двух минут.Пошел перекусить, в ближайшее кафе,Пришёл на рецепш, в 14.10.Мне предложили подождать, ещё примерно полчаса.Со скандалом выдали номер, в 14.35.Причем как не странно, достался номер, по расположению хуже не придумаешь.Номер был убран очень плохо.От предыдущих жильцов, мне досталась не допитая бутылка пива, и губная помада в ванной.Такого обслуживания, я не видел даже, в девяностые.Из плюсов отеля, только прекрасное расположение, и общее состояние отеля.Номер в достаточно большой.Вернусь ли я в этот отель?????Очень сильно этом сомневаюсь.Слава богу, в Казани, есть из чего выбирать.

Великолепное расположение. Улучшенный номер с панорамным видом на озеро. Приветливый персонал. Не понравилась звукоизоляция номеров. Соседей слышно, даже очень. Центральная система кондиционирования -не очень удобная.

A liitle dated but spacious and clean. Great location.

Great location in the center walking street. Close to many restaurants and stores.

Room size was smaller since there was a column in between and the TV table was arranged in center blocking the way for movement. Windows had good view. Location was good. Wifi was slow. Every time I had to go to login page to connect. Food was good. No comments on this. There wasn't tooth brush and paste as part of toiletries even though this was claimed as 4Star property. Access to helipad was excellent. This was restricted to hotel guests, but only at fixed time. Checkin too long time. We arrived at 11.00 AM but even then we were asked to wait until 12 PM or later. Property claims to be 4-star but the facilities related with 4-star were not available. No hot water kettle in room. There were water dispensers in the corridor.

Great hotel, great breakfast close to public transportation and amenities

Right on the pedestrian only Bauman street, and next door to the mall on Bauman. Large hotel. Rooms relatively spacious for Europe other than the x25 (525, 625..) rooms. Useful sitting areas in the main lobby and on every floor. Large gym. Qualms : Long wait time for the elevator Gym not airconditioned Tips: If you need an extra bed in the room, ask them to bring the thick mattress
