"When we go walking in the Quantocks again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again"

Location was excellent, staff friendly, dinner was great.

Room a bit chilly (there was a plug in heater to use and then it was fine)and the breakfast included in the price only covered continental, £10 surcharge for cooked breakfast which we were a little disappointed about.

All staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. The hotel itself is beautiful and set in some stunning surroundings. I would recommend this hotel for any stay and any occasion. The food could not be faulted in any way.

The shower in my room was a little low as it was a fixed head, and I'm 6'1", but it did what it was designed for once the hot water came through.

The staff were exceptional & went out of their way to help with taxis & accomodating 2 weary, hungry travellers for an excellent lunch even though they were due to stop serving 2 minutes after we arrived - we were very grateful!
