It’s a very secluded and quaint location in the heart of Somerset county. Beautiful environment and very British feeling

It is just way too expensive for what it is. Should not cost more than 100 - 125 MAX per night and not over 200 euros. It’s a bit ridiculous TBH. Breakfast was very limited and if you wanted eggs or something, it’s a 10 pound add on. Very sorry but when breakfast is included one expects eggs to also be a part of this.

Quiet country hotel

Booked a twin only double available on arrival. Blamed Booking.com Booking stated breakfast included but had to pay for cooked.

Nice spacious bedroom, thought we'd booked bed and breadfast as stated on booking, but if you want anything cooked you have to pay £10 pp a little odd as we do lots of bed and breakfasts and have never come across this. Basically just cereals , yogurt, some friut and toast. It says on the menu pastries, but on the two breakfasts we had there weren't any. Asked for the evening meal specials and again ran out. Apart from dining experience, hotel ok for walkers and somewhere to sleep and visit surrounding area. The gardens are pretty and well maintained.

Lovely property with lots of character

A lovely hotel on the edge of an AONB and the Quantock Hills rwally are a lovely part of the world. We had a great walk via Bicknoller Post to the village of Bicknoller and back by a different path. Food was lovely and we had some good wine

A charming hotel in quiet surroundings. It felt spacious There was a good choice of cooked and other breakfasts. Staff were very helpful.

The car parking area was a short distance away but my partner has walking difficulties and, because of the layout of driving exits and entrances, it was quite a drive to be able to leave the car park, get to a point to turn back.

Located up a narrow country lane and in a very quiet position with plenty of parking. Warm greeting by the owner/manager then left to take bags to room. Evening meal was excellent (and hot).

Room was smaller than expected and rather dated. Doors to room and shower room badly fitting and needed slamming. Tiny mirror only in shower room. Breakfast waitress could do with 'cheering up'
