Combe House Hotel

This was an ideal work/personal break trip, such a lovely friendly hotel, always happy to help and to make my stay very enjoyable. Food was well cooked, service was always with a smile and the room was clean and comfortable. A good location to explore the area, if you’re a walker then this couldn’t be better. I’d happily return, and I will given the opportunity.

Hotel in a Very lovely area

We came back at 9.30 and thought we would have a drink , but the bar was closed and it was a Saturday night .

Remote location that leant itself nicely to work in Watchet, Bridgewater or Hinkley point. Very quiet with friendly staff.

We have visited before and have always had a fantastic time - it’s in a lovely location 😊

On this visit out bedroom smelt very strongly of dogs - we both own dogs so we’re not anti dogs but it really did smell. We asked for a different room but were told only a double was available which couldn’t be converted into a twin! We understand this but at no point did anyone apologise or try to find a solution!

Staff were so friendly, welcoming and smiley. Hotel decor was fabulous and comfortable, nice bar with good beer, fabulous rose wine and lovely food, dinner, afternoon tea and breakfast! Great location, lovely bathroom and comfy bed.

Nothing it was perfect

This was a little gem of a find away from the hussle and bussle of the world. Beautiful location and amazing walks around the Quantocks. The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble gor them. Food lovely. Peaceful break away would definitely return. This was a last minute book and so glad we did.
