Classic Lodges - Farington Lodge

Liked the staff, very attentive. Restaurant food good.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was old but well maintained - in its style. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food both breakfast and evening meal was freshly cooked and perfect. Our only gripe was the lack of variety of wine by the glass. We don’t enjoy the same types of wine so we ordered one white and one red wine by the glass. Both were disappointing to put it mildly. Other than that a lovely stay but we wouldn’t repeat.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff from check in through to check out. Breakfast (included) was freshly cooked and very good.

The hotel is rather dated, however, the standard of food was exceptional

It was first class accommodation and staff were also very attentive. Excellent breakfast too.

Booked a suite for the night after a wedding. Room was spacious and a very comfortable bed! We had a plentiful hot buffet breakfast, and only downside was no fresh fruit on display. Enjoyed our stay.

Great potential, very dated in need of some investment. Also the room should be made up everyday not just the once.
