Classic Lodges - Farington Lodge

Nice enough little spot. Older building but well kept. Staff are friendly. Would stay again. Represents good value for an M6 stopover.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was generous with good facilities. Hotel has a nice period feel to it and the grounds are lovely. Bed was comfy and I slept well. Cleanliness was okay, a bit of dust in the wardrobe and found a few stray strands of hair on the bathroom floor but bed linen and towels were perfectly fresh and fine. Shower was nice and consistently hot. Breakfast was very good with a traditional Full English, cereals, fruit and juices on offer. It's the staff that really lifts the stay from a good to an excellent one. Thank you.

An attractive place to stay en route back to Scotland from the South of England with a very hospitable and welcoming reception.

Overal, a very pleasnt stay. Very friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. My major dislike was that I could hear fans running all night. At time they seemed to speed up, sounding like a small plane getting ready for takeoff Very minor dislikes... Room was a little smaller than expected. Tv was very small But, on the whole, my stay was very pleasnt

Venue set in excellent grounds

We had 3 days there, the staff at reception were very pleasant, as were the bar and dining room staff. One breakfast we ordered scrambled eggs and bacon. One day it was one scrambled egg and one piece of bacon, which I thought was very small for breakfast, the next day 2 eggs scrambled and 2 ra#hers of bacon- no consistantsy.

Stayed for friends daughters wedding. Lovely night sleeps
