Location and the room.

This is a great bed & breakfast. Very comfortable room and bed. The place is very charming and the breakfast is very good. Enjoyed the happy hour bites and homemade sangria. The location is perfect, walkable to everything but far enough from the night life noise. The morning sunrises were spectacular. Very helpful and responsive staff. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved that we picked this B&B for our honeymoon! The staff were very communicative, helpful, friendly, and efficient. Check in and checkout was very quick & easy. Our room was clean and presentable, we were super pleased when we saw that we had a bathtub with jacuzzi jets plus a walk in shower with two heads instead of just one. And we especially loved how comfortable our King sized bed was. This B&B is in a very calm and pleasant neighborhood with lovely views plus shops and restaurants that are within a decent walking distance. We had zero complaints when it came to noise. You definitely feel at peace when you stay here. Breakfast was always delicious and it’s so convenient how they send you text alerts 24 hours ahead of time to know what time you’d like your food delivered to you in the morning or whether or not your room needs a quick refresher. If this is your first time visiting Saint Augustine and are looking for a cozy, romantic place to stay for two? Definitely give Bayfront Marin House a shot. You will not regret it.

We had the Josephine room. Very spacious, beautiful decor, and private. Happy hour and breakfast was exceptional. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. The location is central to restaurants and historic area.

I used the services of reservationdesk.com to reserve a room at Marin Bayfront for three days. The agent promised me, and I made it CRYSTAL CLEAR that we wanted a second floor room with a view of the bay. The agent promised me we would have a second floor room with a Bayfront view. When we arrived at Marin Bayfront, we were admonished at the front desk for going through a third-party and not calling the B&B directly. They said they didn’t have our name or any information. When we arrived, not only did we not have a second floor room, but we were stuck in the WORST room on the property with NO VIEW at all. Around 9:00 PM we were sitting in the courtyard gazebo so that we could see the bay (since we had no view). OURS was the only room on the property with absolutely no waterfront view. Tiny little shoebox. Then, around 9 PM, the owner/manager, Sandy reprimanded and chastised us for singing and being joyful. The very next morning, we checked out and went to another waterfront location just one block away, and we were very happy there FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS — NO PROBLEMS. Sandy at Marin Bayfront refused to give us our money back for the two days that we did not stay there. ABOUT $950.00. SANDY claimed that it is their policy to not give any refunds, and that we should have called them directly (versus going through a third-party to make reservations). SEEMS THAT IF SANDY & MARIN BAYFRONT is perfectly willing to accept the services and benefits from a third-party agent, then they cannot thereafter claim no responsibility for that agent’s LIES. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES, AND I WILL FILE A LAWSUIT IF NEED-BE.

There is plenty of covered areas for shade. There is also comfy seating in the sun. Most rooms have bistro tables and chairs outside. Unlike most B&Bs there’s no central dining area so breakfast and happy hour trays are delivered to your room or patio area.

Gostei principalmente da vista, bem de frente para o mar, com uma janela bem grande. O acesso à praia era fácil. A cabana é um pequeno apartamento, maior e melhor do que eu esperava.

O hotel poderia ter deixado mais claro que a localização das cabanas é super longe da parte administrativa do hotel. Me obrigou a tirar uma mala bem pesada do carro, para depois de ir arrastando a mala por várias pequenas escadas, ficar sabendo que o quarto era em outro lugar. Na verdade vc pode ir direto para a cabana e abrir a porta com a senha. A mensagem que recebi dava a entender que um check-in sem contato com outras pessoas poderia ser feito por causa do Covid, quando na verdade essa é a maneira mais prática. Sugiro que o texto seja mudado.

Such a charming, beautiful bed & breakfast! The property has beautiful flowers, pretty courtyard with lots of seating & our room las large with so many gorgeous details....chandelier, upholstered headboard, really nice linens, plush towel, toiletries, electric fireplace for ambiance, large walk-in shower! Every morning breakfast was amazing & we had the choice to have it brought to our room or the courtyard! Happy hour every evening with different snacks daily & wide range of choices for drinks again in our room or courtyard! The staff is so accommodating, friendly & attentive! We felt so very pampered! The location is perfect, beautiful view of the bay & we walked to restaurants & the historic district! Free parking in a private lot was a huge bonus! They are also pet friendly so we could bring our Yorkie with us!

Luxurious accommodations, top notch hospitality. I have stayed at several of the units and properties under the Bayfront Marin umbrella and have enjoyed all of them. The properties are not only beautifully styled, they are very comfortable. My most recent stay was at the little apartment across from the bay with a view and a cozy fireplace. It was perfect for a romantic weekend while the weather wasn’t too hot yet. The check in process is so easy and breakfast is delivered to your door! Happy hour is offered at the lovely courtyard overlooking the Bayfront and conveniently located walking distance to all of the quaint restaurants and entertainment.
