Needs updated
USWe'd originally intended to stay in Albuquerque, but the Balloon Festival was that weekend, so we pressed on further west on I-40 and stayed at this HIE in Grants. No complaints about the property. It is conveniently located, around a half-mile from the intersection with I-40. Our room was comfortable and clean; sleep quality was good. The staff endorsed the Asian Buffet restaurant next door, so it was nice we wouldn't have to drive further for dinner that Friday night. Breakfast the next morning was the usual hot and cold fare. Overall, a good stay.
Guy at front desk was super nice and helpful.
The towels smelled like feces. The toilet was not cleaned. The bathroom reeked of poop smell. Horrible...
USThe room and bathroom were very dated and in desperate need of an upgrade. Construction and noise in the hallways continue a year later. The pull out sofa bed was brown and super gross. Looked like it was not opened in forever. We had to switch it with another one from a different room. We had carry it ourselves. No sheets, pillows or comforter were provided for that bed. We had to ask for extra towels too and had to go get them ourselves. Way too pricey for the poor conditions and service provided. We will not return here.
Hotel is under minor renovation to upgrade and update rooms.
MXWe took a room w the living room under the idea I could work late and hubby could sleep. Unfortunately the only thing that " separates the 2 rooms is a 2 foot bump put. So they really aren't separate. Rooms were clean beds comfy. The bathroom however had a loose toilet and a sewer smell. We kept the door closed. This is across from a Walgreens. Go there for snacks and drinks. I was charged $15 for a can of coke and 2 tiny snack pack chips. I mean the kind that are not sold individual retail but the kind you buy in an assortment pack Breakfast was great. So that made up for the $15 snacks, since it was included. Hot means hot Eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, pastries, toast, milk, coffee, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits etc. plus they offer to go complete w paper lunch bags I'd have rated higher but the snack price was ridiculous and paid almost $200 for a 2 room " suite" and it was really just a big room w a sofa and cocktail table We travel a lot
