Washingborough Hall Hotel

The position and grounds of the hotel, and the receptionist was very friendly.

The room was like a dungeon. I asked for a room on the ground floor. We walked downstairs to like a basement area with very little light. Yes there were patio doors into a very small gravelled area of about 15x15ft. but the hotel towered above. The carpets had seen better days and the hotel in the dining rooms were very bland. I travel every week either for business or pleasure, but sorry to say was very disappointed. If you are out later than 10.30pm you enter the hotel using a number coded lock. When we entered at 11pm breakfast had already been laid out in the front entrance.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely village no complaints at all

The stand out feature is the restaurant. We had the most incredible meal for dinner, truly exquisite! The bar was also lovely to lounge in. The hotel room itself was adequate, but would have befitted from a larger, and smart, TV to have enjoyed some wind down time, as well as a larger shower (it was very small in a very large bathroom).

Everything was wonderful. The staff, the food, the room, the hall, all perfect. My son and I each had a room and we were very comfortable. All of the staff was welcoming and gracious.

Only thing that was missing was a washcloth.

Friendly, helpful, professional staff. Great location - quiet and relaxing. Great food.

Nothing to dislike

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room and facilities were lovely. A really nice, clean and pleasant hotel.
