"Lovely hotel and location"

The hotel was lovely, the reception and restaurant staff were excellent. The Room and bathroom were very large and comfortable and the view was fantastic. It was good to be able to get the car in under cover too.

Only have a few issues. I booked the hotel nearly a month before our stay. The hotel emailed a number of times, twice the day before I arrived. At no point were we advised that the restaurant was extremely popular and they were fully booked both nights we stayed, All I wanted was a line to say "Our restaurant is very popular and we advise early booking to avoid disappointment." If I hadn't then done it it would have been my choice. Secondly I object to my wife and myself being referred to as "guys" only the bar staff did this no one else. Finally, The road outside the front is very noisy at night, if you're not used to it don't book a sea view.

Spotlessly clean and well presented, lovely gardens etc Fabulous breakfast made with quality ingredients.

Having part of breakfast served ion a low coffee table seemed cheap and weird to use. Just being in an appropriate table for the service.

The Washingborough was the venue for a wake that I attended for a colleague from my time in the Army. The service provided by the staff for the wake and also in respect of the room, I found to be exceptional. The Hotel nestles in the Lincolnshire countryside and the quiet of the space is great for reflective time. The furnishings in the room echoed the overall style of the decor throughout the Hotel - The staff were very accommodating.
