Cabanas Tulum- Beach Hotel & Spa

Cabanas Tulum was just fantastic! From the pre-arrival communications to the late check-out, everything was a perfect. A gorgeous beachy boho boutique hotel, with impeccable service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the reception team were brilliant - thanks for your help Ken and Anna! The rooms were clean, spacious and had the bonus of ( very comfy) twin queen beds. Great when travelling with a pal. The toiletries smelled lovely, the coffee was great and it was nice to have a bag to carry the beach towels in - great little touch. Now for the food! Breakfast was included and it turned out to be my favourite meal of the day… every day! With two locations and slightly different menus there was so much to try. The smoothies were delicious and every dish was gorgeous. I particularly loved the roasted broccoli bowl and the Mayan eggs. Portions are big so choose wisely! If you are looking for a laid back vibe, beach views and amazing food then Cabañas is the place!

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The property is very well-located, moments away from all the main shops, restaurants, and bars. They have very good breakfast options at two restaurants. Ziggy, the restaurant right next door, has amazing pork belly tacos.

Not really the property’s fault, but we couldn’t swim in the sea because of excessive seaweed accumulation

We loved Cabanas Tulum! The people were very friendly & helpful. Aldo made sure we had whatever we needed every day. The spa was amazing - I recommend getting a massage by Eduardo or Karima. We enjoyed being right on the beach but having access to our own plunge pool.

Good Customer service, Ken was great she made our stay a wonderful experience. Birthday decoration in the room , cake and wine were lovely😍. I appreciate the details.

I did a LOT of research and found Cabanas Tulum (thru Chat GPT) haha. It was EVERYTHING you’d want your first solo trip to be- the beachfront room was AMAZING! I’d sleep on the balcony in my cozy hammock to the sounds of the ocean and then retreat inside and not hear it at all. I’d go upstairs to the hot tub and layout on the comfy chaise lounges. And one day I came back to my room and they decorated for my bday and gave me a bottle of champagne! And the food- you get a free breakfast and it is so delicious and so much food that I only ate again at night. And last but not least the staff Aldo, Ken,Jessi, Nancy, Vale and Mariana- superb. You must stay at the Cabana’s Hotel. And Simon my personal tour guide and chauffeur- I learned so much about Tulum and went to the best cenote and lagoon! I’ll see you all again! Thank you!
