Cabanas Tulum- Beach Hotel & Spa

The staff was so accommodating and over all just amazing. Their complimentary breakfast was also so healthy and delicious, and you could also order breakfast from their sister hotel too. The rooms are cozy and very chic bohemian, which we loved. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home, especially, Ken, David, Aldo, Santiago, Valeria, Rosa, Camila, Arturo, and Faith, to name a few!

I was looking for a hotel in Tulum where hospitality truly meets longevity and wellness — and I found an absolute gem: Cabañas Tulum Hotel. This place has everything you need to recharge your nervous system and return to balance. Beautiful rooms with breathtaking ocean views, a private rooftop jacuzzi, and a hammock for slow mornings. The property also offers a fully equipped gym, a serene spa with a sauna, steam room, and cold plunge — the perfect combination for recovery and rejuvenation. I’m deeply grateful to the entire team, especially the kitchen staff. Every morning they delivered breakfast straight to my room and prepared a custom anti-inflammatory smoothie to support my diet. The food quality is exceptional — fresh, organic, and crafted with so much care.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and I can warmly recommend it. We had a great Seaview room with the added bonus of a private roof terrace and hot tub which we made good use of. The on side spa was also excellent with sauna, steam room, and hot and cold plunge pools. Also great to have the flexibility of two restaurants Ziggy’s and Fresco’s both of which were excellent not just for the breakfast that was included but also for dinner.. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special shout out to the bell boy David and Angel at Ziggy‘s restaurant for their service and hospitality. We also appreciated the late check out given that the hotel did not seem to be full. Thanks for a great stay!

Our second visit to Cabanas Tulum, and we enjoyed it even more! It’s quaint and not overwhelming. Beautiful beachfront with plenty of palm trees for shade. No reservations needed for beach beds, chairs, etc. All staff are super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are very clean. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Fresco’s restaurant on site is always amazingly delicious and the staff knew us after just one visit. Breakfast from the menu is included and was too much food for us to handle. Great happy hour specials too. With a semi-rainout day, we were able to easily schedule 60 minutes of complimentary hydrotherapy. It was wonderful! Cold plunge and all!

This is a small but very nice hotel, perfectly situated at the beach. It’s quiet surroundings but close to the action if wanted. This hotel is perfect for a couple get-away and both restaurants serve excellent food and that includes the Beach Club. The staff is super friendly so I ca mention any negatives. I can truly recommend this hotel!
