Belle Villa Resort, Pai

It is a decent hotel to stay in. Like every other family resort. The only complain will be the bed. Quite hard as the mattress is spring type and the room has a bit of moldy smell as mine is the pool entrance type. Can’t complain much with the price that I have paid for. A pointer, during the winter, it is too cold to swim at all in Pai. XD

Peaceful location, beautiful area, friendly people.

The room was very smelly and you are not allowed to have a bath with hot water in the tub. The pools does not look very clean. The staff was very kind and the shuttle was good, but you have to call them if you want to go back to the resort. If you do not have a sim card for thailand, it is a problem. We had scooters so it wasn't a big problem.

Central, good shuttle service, spacious rooms and quiet. All good, no dislikes

The hotel staff was kind and assisted us in checking in. I was happy to see the surrounding area was very natural and the pool area was unique with a fun little bar.

Stayed there for two nights in the main building. The hotel is surrounded by green jungle and I think that many years ago it was a luxury hotel but unfortunately due to bad maintenance it’s not the case right now: there is bad smell in the room , the bed is hard and not comfortable, the air-condition is dripping water and I suspect that cleanliness of the room is not sufficient. Breakfast was average not high quality

I have never reviewed any hotel before but the Belle Villa was not great at all it is in noway a resort or worthy of 4 stars. They have two pools one was off limits to swim in as it was not clean and the other pool was not much better. My room had mould in it, the bath tub looked like it had never been cleaned and the water on the second day when I went to wash my face was brown and stayed like that for over a day. There was a dead rat with blood outside my room when I arrived home at 11pm one night (was gone by the next day 10am). It was 18 minutes to walk to any shop or restaurant and the roads were very dark with lots of stray dogs. These dogs barked all night long and no one at reception seemed to care. The positives are that they have a shuttle bus service until 10pm and a nice view of the mountains from the restaurant and the beds are big and comfy. There was loads of big bugs and one landed on my face while I was on my balcony when I was drinking a glass of water and I panicked and smashed my glass and reception charged me for the broken glass it was quite funny when they asked for 120 Bhat.

全体的に微妙なホテルでした。。。 まず立地ですが、市街地からはちょっと距離があり、夜になると街灯も少なく暗いので歩いて帰るには不便な立地です。 部屋には浴槽が付いていますが、汚い。一体何日間掃除していなかったんだというぐらい汚かったです。（ちなみに温泉の温度はめっちゃぬるいです） 浴室には蟻が大量に発生していて、タオルも汚れていたり、アメニティも石鹸しかないなど全体的に微妙でした。 またプール直結の部屋に泊まったのですが、プールが清掃されておらず汗ばむ陽気（4月末）で眼の前にプールがあるのに入れないという経験しました。

Yes it’s a bit dated but that’s more than out-weighed by the ambience of the grounds, the delicious food and most of all the exceptionally helpful staff. Several staff spoke good English and everyone of them made us feel very welcomed. The rooms are nice but we opted for a cottage. It’s just down a side street off the main road making it much quieter. The property is a huge acreage with lots of trees and walking areas. 2 swimming pools which are also a bit dated but are clean and well maintained. Sitting on our private porch we enjoyed the constant singing of happy birds. When we arrived to a huge breakfast buffet with hot delicious food we decided we needed to stay another night. Great value.
