The Riverside Inn

I stayed here during a four day trip to Stowe. Elise and her son were very friendly, and Elise was eager to offer recommendations on where to go and what to do. On what was initially to be my last full day, seeing how I was enjoying my trip, Elise noted that the room I was in was available for an extra night at the same rate. Her generosity is greatly appreciated! As for the property, be aware it is not hotel or resort experience. Essentially, the inn has rooms which are rented out (these I did not see) and 6-8 rooms behind which somewhat resemble a motel. Regardless, my room itself was equipped with two twin beds and a small single, with heating, mini fridge, coffee, TV, and beautiful renovated bathroom and shower. Finally, the location is perfect, within walking distance of many restaurants and breweries, including Alchemist, as well as walking distance to the Rec Path.

We had a wonderful stay in Riverside Inn, the room is very clean and smells clean. It is newly renovated. I like that the floor is not carpeted so it doesn’t have that old carpet smell. Walking distance to some best restaurants in town, in fact Piecasso is just beside it. The back of the motel is nice pine trees with a river behind it. Worth the money and this will be our first choice next time.
