The Riverside Inn

Very nice British owner/manager who will take good care of you. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bathrooms beautifully updated, including fancy showers. Pet friendly! If you have an electric vehicle, you may be able to charge it with Julian's' personal 120 V charger, but in the future Julian is planning to upgrade this to a 240 V charger. Great location, proximity to the Alchemist brewery and the Idletyme Brew Pub and Restaurant (2 minute walk to both) and a short car ride to the Von Trapp Beer Hall will be appreciated by beer lovers.

No breakfast, however PK Coffee is just across the street.

Friendly owners and simple checkin. Location is close to winter activities, a walking trail, "secret" swimming holes, and restaurants. A short drive to the Ben & Jerry's factory, Montpelier, Burlington, and the village of Stowe. Although it's not luxury accommodations like many of the other places in the area, it's definitely the most affordable for those who need a place to sleep and store their things while they get out and explore Vermont.

Perfect location next to the recreation trail and river, with two breweries, coffee shop, restaurants, bike shop, and park all within a short walk. Especially with a dog, staying in the back rooms was a perfect set up for us. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful.

I've stayed in a lot of "budget" motels, and this one is far an away the best. The owners appear to be a couple, and they are very sweet. The motel looks like it is older, but they've done a lot of work to make the rooms look cute and more modern. It is clean and has everything you'd need in a motel room, and you just really can't beat the price. The location is also excellent, in walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants, and bars. I would definitely stay there in the future if I were passing through Stowe.

Great little spot! Perfect if you just need a place to sleep and don't plan on spending too much time in the room. Awesome location. Friendly owners who live on the site. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Stayed here on a last-minute whim solo trip to Stowe for a weekend. Room was spacious with three beds. Linens were fresh, room was clean and sufficiently supplied (microwave, cube fridge and coffee maker). Had a nice chat with one of the proprietors while he took a break from servicing other units. Not the "lap of luxury" but more than met the expectations I had for a unit at a very modest price.

Wonderful location and comfortable place

Very well located property. Clean and quiet. Quality vs price is really appropriate and I recommend this property, well in line with my expectation. Very nice staff.
