Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tuscumbia/Muscle Shoals

Room was a disaster infestation of bugs, broken tile. Carpet torn and coming up and shower drain would not drain properly. No manager on site to come up with a solution or compensation on a sold-out night in town.

Overall a good experience. The elevator call button on the 4th floor did not work. You could go up but not down unless you called the front desk and asked them to send up the elevator. We just went down the stairs. Everything was clean and worked fine except the elevator button. :-)

We stay there because it is a pretty good deal but it could use some updates and cleaning better. They put us on the fourth floor where the elevator door buttons didn’t work. My husband is handicapped. What if a fire had happened! We’d been stuck. It was a mess and the floors were so sticky. The people are nice and helpful but they need to get it together.
