The Briza Beach Resort Khaolak

We are staying at the Briza hotel for our family holiday and the staff and facilities have been great so far! The rooms are spacious and clean and lots of complimentary amenities/toiletries are available for guests to use. They even went out of their way to help us celebrate the multiple birthdays we have within our family and we appreciate their dedication to finding a solution! It’s always lovely to have such a warm welcome from the staff at every point. They have two pool areas as well and also an on-site massage facility which we plan to make full use of! Thank you for the experience so far!

Arrival to the hotel was greeted by staff with a welcome drink. Checkin was smooth and slick, rooms are large and provide all simple amenities(kettle / tea coffee /fridge / water (paid mini bar if you would like) shower gels/soaps etc even a beach towel). Breakfast really nice, we actually enjoyed all the local dishes. Beer at the hotel is slightly over priced compared to outside the hotel grounds. (Almost double) we didn’t eat any other meal than breakfast so cannot comment on this. Staff super friendly like all of Thailand :-).

We stayed at the hotel for the full two weeks end of February into March. The staff cannot do enough for you. Always happy to see you and assist with any questions or needs. The rooms are spotless and everywhere smells fresh. Breakfast each morning had lots of choices. Only had lunch once in the outside eatery and the food was so tasty and enjoyable. The hotel was right on the beach and what a stunning beach it is. Lots of beach bars along the beach offering food and drinks. We liked how the hotel was in a little community of bars, restaurants, shops plus 7-11. You really didn’t need to leave the area. However we took a taxi into the main strip of Khao Lak (taxi at top of the road) which only took 7 minutes offering more bars and restaurants. For a few minutes more you will find the night market. The hotel is in an excellent location for trips and we were picked up and dropped back off afterwards. Overall this was the best holiday we have ever had and we have had some good ones. I would definitely recommend Khao Lak and also the Briza Beach. We will 💯 return.

We were staying at the Briza for 2 weeks. The room we had first was very big but had absolutely no storage for clothes etc. We complained to reception who said that they could move us to another room at additional cost to us. We were shown another room which was so much better so we decided to upgrade and were much happier. The breakfast choice was very good with lots to choose from. The restaurant manager Ken was amazing and his staff were always very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. In fact all the staff in the hotel were very friendly and professional.

The hotel was in a very good location with plenty of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. The hotel was very clean and we were bed and breakfast with buffet breakfast which there were many choices. Ran out of bananas very quickly. Staff were all very good and friendly. Only ate a few times at lunchtime restaurant for convenience. Ate off site for the other meals, loads of choice. The rooms were cleaned everyday and very clean with shower gel and shampoo replenished regularly. The sun beds were being reserved very early with some nationalities reserving double the amount of beds for a change around. More beds were bought in on our second week which helped slightly in getting a bed on the grassed area. The swimming pool was very warm but the pool over in the swim up area was far more refreshing with little pools for tiny kids. Most children were in the main pool so made it noisy and very splashy, but they were enjoying themselves. Did not like the layout of the main pool area, steps up to the area and then gulley's all around the pool which you tripped in. Travelled as a party of 6 and went on day trips so struggled to get sunbeds together on our return to the hotel. It would have been nice to have a waiter/waitress to walk around the pool or grassed area to take drink orders. So instead of walking to bar I walked back to my room so saved money.

Beautiful location by the beach, we had Sea view room, highly recommended! Clean place and ample of food / drink choices. Lots of Love from staff all around the resort hotel.. ample sun beds, clean white sandy beach ⛱️ The rooms are amazing, huge, double shower / soak bath room.. Plenty of room for storage, balcony views from bedroom its beautiful and breath taking. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend to you this hotel if ever in khaolak resort- book The Briza Beach Resort Khaolak. Great location to all nearby amenities, 7/11 shop 6min walk.. everything is walking distance. Lots of great places to eat / drink.. Amazing b'fast selection Staff are very accommodating, friendly and overall great service and excellent hotel. Thank-you

We had pool access room and a great choice. Hotel just needs a little TLC. Mould in showers, dirty grout and stained curtains/ furniture. Room / sheets/ towels very clean, The hotel is used by TUI so has a ‘holiday complex’ type vibe . Staff are very helpful and breakfast plentiful and fresh. Beach is nice and I always managed to get a sunbed. All my negatives did not stop us having a great time. It will take a lot of time and money to refurb the hotel. Hotel is in a small village type with several restaurants/ bars/ supermarkets/ massage about. Quite a lot of Brit’s about ( we are from UK) We hired a moped and got to see the most beautiful beaches( coconut, white sands, bangsak). We also went to Pam’s restaurant and was the nicest setting and best food we had. Khao Lak is amazing but think carefully what part of it you want to stay. Some hotels are very remote indeed. We will def return

Vi har haft två helt underbara veckor här på Briza. Jättegod frukost. Servicen har varit fantastisk. Det är lugnt och skönt. Läget och stranden är inget man kan säga något negativt om. Hotellet ligger lite utanför Khaolak, men det gör bara att det blir ännu lugnare. Vill man in till centrum, är det bara 5 min med taxi. Om det är något man kan säga som kanske behöver förbättras, är att det inte fanns så många parasoll vid stranden. Man fick stå upp väldigt tidigt, om man skulle ha en möjlighet att paxa en sådan. Många som vaknar tidigt tydligen, och går och lägger handuk på solsängar. Men bara en bagatell i det stora och hela. Vi är jättenöjda!!!!
