Shame the swimming pool was not open

It is amazingly beautiful lodge. Facilities are refurbished and it is great location. The water hole gave us life time experiences. Food top notch. Crew mixed with some amazing people and some a bit grumpy. Amazing Chef in the restaurant

You are located in the Tsavo park and need to pay for park visit for each day. Even if you don’t go for safari. So basically stay is super expensive with kids if you stay more then 1 night. Also hotel policy is to pay per person, including kids. The rate is not adequate if you compare to other lodges in Kenya. It is nice 1 day experience. If you stay longer it becomes super expensive.

Beautiful location right in front of a waterhole where all kinds of wildlife congregate every day and night. Experienced guide took us on a very interesting safari drive. All hotel staff super-friendly and attentive. Great New Year’s party with Masai dances

The theatre of animals in the water hole all day long with a lovely big veranda to watch from. Incredible - we saw at least 10 species coming in groups right in front the hotel. Beautiful natural vibe to the hotel and really helpful friendly staff.

No small space somewhere to do own yoga or Pilates stretches. Just a small room with some mats would be much appreciated. The pool was a small kidney shape and quite shallow in places so not conducive to swimming length for fitness. There is a trail for jogging around the property but a rogue elephant kept getting in so we were told it wasn’t safe to use on some days while there. So if you are spending hours a day on game drives or watching wildlife from the veranda be prepare for little keeping if fitness while there.

Great location, spectacular patio overlooking a waterhole. Staff very friendly & attentive, especially in restaurant & bar. Food very tasty, fresh! Game drives were great, especially the night one.

Rooms was very hot and stuffy. Fan did not do the trick. Came in from the Amboseli side and the road (believe c103 or 104 was a nightmare, be prepared!).

Swimming pool was being maintained but they made plans for us to swim the neighboring place which helped
