Tents in the form of rooms. Small sizes but clean. Common seating area and dinning area is nice. Outside garden is well maintained. Full board option for breakfast, lunch and dinner is fairly good. good choice of desert, fruits, juices and salad. A couple of juices and fruit were not fresh and seemed stale. staff is polite considering room sizes, style and other amenities, price is a bit high.

Fantastic location inside the Ol Pejeta Conservancy! The “tents” have stunning views of animals coming to the waterhole and just passing by. Elephants, rhinos, warthogs, gazelles, zebras and many more wandered near our tents (safely on the other side of an electric fence). Best views of anyplace we stayed in Kenya! The “tent” was fantastic and we much appreciate staff leaving hot water bottles in our bed for the chilly nights. The food was buffet style and got a bit repetitive after a couple days, but was good quality. Overall you won’t regret the amazing animal visitors wandering by every day just outside your tent flap!

Our stay at Serena Sweetwaters Camp was absolutely seamless. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The tents were spotless and very well maintained, providing both comfort and a true safari feel. The staff were consistently attentive and welcoming, making us feel cared for throughout our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with enough variety to please everyone in our family. Most importantly, the camp was absolutely quiet at night—we slept soundly and woke refreshed for our game drives. A wonderful experience all around. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and well-run safari camp.

Travel to Lodge We used land transport from Nairobi which took over 4 hours with few stops along the way. The Check-in and Room We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and our check-in processed by Peter was quick and efficient. The solid tent room was clean, very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom area was very clean, large and the shower was hot. Naomi made sure that our room was always clean and well stocked. The free Wi-Fi in the room and the hotel was very good. Location The hotel location gave that great feel of safari. The animals came to the watering hole in front of the lodge. We saw rhinos, elephants and deer at close range outside our tent. Food There was good choice of local fruits and food at breakfast time. The buffet restaurant provided choice of western, African and Indian cuisine. We were very impressed by the service. Sammy in the restaurant looked after us well. Pools and Gym The hotel has a swimming pool. There are sunbeds and sitting area around the pool which are kept clean by very friendly staff. Towels are available by the pool. Park Drive During the twice daily park drives we saw a number of different animals in their natural habitat. Great experience. The staff everywhere were very friendly. We have recommended this lodge to our friends and family members.

I recently stayed at Sweet Water Resort in Kenya, and while the overall experience was lovely, there were a couple of significant issues that marred our stay. First, the resort itself is absolutely beautiful. The scenery is stunning, with lush surroundings that create a peaceful atmosphere. We rented two rooms, which offered breathtaking views and a sense of tranquility. The food was another highlight; every meal was delicious and well-prepared, showcasing local flavors and ingredients. However, there were some drawbacks that affected our comfort. Unfortunately, we encountered a serious issue with ants in the beds, which made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. It’s disappointing that such a beautiful facility would have this problem, as it detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, we faced another inconvenience with no water available in the morning, making it impossible to freshen up before our departure. In summary, Sweet Water Resort has incredible potential with its beautiful setting and great food, but attention to cleanliness and basic amenities is crucial for a more enjoyable stay. I hope they can address these issues for future guests.

The camp was lovely ! This tented camp actually is the epitome of glamping! The tents are in a solids - I presume cement - slab with tiles. Indoor full size bathroom, super comfortable bed ( surrounded by mosquito netting), a hot water bottle is placed under the covers when staff turns down the fed for you, the restaurant provides great buffet selections for every taste and the campus, the view and the animals and birds were spectacular. Don’t miss sunsets and sunrises when you are there !

This is a fabulous place! Right inside the conservancy so ideal for game drives, it has the most beautiful tents super well equipped! The scenery is marvellous and you see lots of animals coming to the watering hole. The buffet restaurant is great with a great selection and all the staff are super helpful. Fabulous masseuse Emilie, one of the best massages I ever had!

Staying inside Ol Pejeta is always going to be an expensive option, but Sweetwaters offers the best value for money. The location is truly memorable - looking out over a busy waterhole. The staff are amazing - the manager sets the standard as regards approachability and efficiency, and this is reflected in all of his staff. The food is buffet style, but wonderful quality, huge variety, and something for everyone. Can't wait for our next visit.

Very cool hotel located right near a watering hole. Saw many animals come up to the water both day and night. The tents were comfortable and was a unique experience to stay in them. Restaurant was nice with good selection of food.
