Sweetwaters Serena Camp

This facility was booked by our travel agent and it was terrific! The location, atmosphere and team are truly amazing. The ‘tent’ experience was luxurious, the food was terrific (vegetarian options were stellar), and we felt pampered the entire time. The watering hole outside the rooms created a special opportunity to see wildlife anytime of day. Special thanks to David in the Dining room and John in housekeeping for the special care and attention to detail. Both David and John made the stay special.

The whole place was unreal, at times felt like we were just looking at a 'perfect picture' the resort is carefully thought out and gives a sense of 'being completely wild' or 'at one with nature" we saw so many animals pass by the watering hole. The Lodge was wonderful and the hot water bottles at night time were a wonderful suprise. All food was great and staff were lovely. We booked a night game drive and this was incredible - we were lucky enough to see a whole pride of lions. (A MUST DO DRIVE!) We have already recommended to family and friends! Thanks so much ✨️ *Also just to note you have to pay a daily fee for the park extra depending on how many nights you stay. This is payable at the security gate of ol pejeta conservancy.

Sweeteaters Serena camp was a great place to spend a few days. The “tent accommodation” was excellent with a large well equipped ensuite and large bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The dining facilities and lounge area were also excellent. Sitting on the veranda of the tent we could watch a wide range of wild life go past. Including rhinos, deer, water buffalo to name just a few. Lots of different birds as well. We greatly enjoyed our time there.

We had an awesome time 5/5 in my books. We were well received from the askari at the gate to the reception... it was just perfect, Brian the waiter took his time to give us options and variations to the meals and had great suggestions a good eye on noting someone's preference. As for Benson their supervisor after listening to him give instructions to his juniors I got to understand why the team worked so smoothly and efficiently. The manager made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of through out our stay. The game drive was exhilarating we saw a 3 lion hunt on a warthog!!! We had a direct view of the watering hole with animals coming and going... The ambience, the care and attention we got was exemplary. Kudos to the Sweetwaters team. We will definitely visit again.

A wonderful lodge set amongst the foothills of Mount Kenya, sitting in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy . With beautiful scenic views and lovely weather . The air so fresh and clean in spite of it being a game park . As for the lodge , hosting perfect service ( all with a smile ) and perfect lodging . Their tents are all luxurious. All en-suite , with running hot water ( much needed after a game dry ) although this park is anything but dry . The service is impeccable from all quarters. The Manager Elizabeth must be commended for helping out and catering to our needs. Throughout our stay . And a game drive in the lodges car is a must with their experienced driver Juma , who knows the wild terrain like it was his home . We saw the Big Four ! Needless to say the lions were the icing on the cake . It’s always so much easier to book directly with Serena . They make sure we are taken care of. I would like to thank my Loyalty Manager Mr. Michael . Maina , for all his efforts in ensuring a happy and enjoyable stay . Thank you Mr. Michael . I hope to come back again , hopefully.
