Amazing View.

The view outside my room was spectacular! The room and property were very clean. We loved staying in Murren.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but small. The Swiss breakfast buffet was fine, however, there were flies and bees everywhere--in the food on the buffet and a total nuisance at the table. There was a bee that got stuck in the jam jar. I would have liked to have the automatic coffee machine available 24/7 as it had been at our other stays in Switzerland. When I asked if I could walk in the breakfast area and get a cup of coffee at 8:30pm from the automatic coffee machine I was told "no". This was a little disappointing. However, staying in the village of Murren was a great choice. It was way less crowded than Lauterbrunnen. Murren was a cute car-less village. I did not realize that it is located on the top of the mountain and that no cars are allowed. It was easy to park in Stechelberg and take the cable car up to the village. The parking was expensive, but that goes with everything else in Switzerland.

Great location and place to stay.

We were not given the room that was requested through Expedia. Instead we were given a smaller room with a shared patio that had a smoker on one side and a guest from another room standing in front of our window. We had to keep our curtains closed the whole time and felt very uncomfortable. The hotel management couldn’t have cared less. Also, the restaurant staff was rude and unprofessional. They even gave back incorrect change. That is theft. Again hotel staff couldn’t have cared less. All they do is give you a fake smile but don’t solve any issues. Apparently as long as they get the money they are content. I can not recommend this hotel.

Great customer service! The receptionist were so nice and explained different hiking trails near the property. If you want to wake up with a beautiful picturesque mountain view right from your window this is the hotel for you! Delicious breakfast every morning with a view!

Great property in the amazing little town of Murren. Nice to have a balcony with a beautiful view. Easy access from the gondolas.

The view from our balcony was stunning! Service was great too.
