Grosvenor Gardens Hotel

Cute and comfortable facilities, but the best of all is the hosts. The family that runs the hotel is just so kind and welcoming, and they are really attentive to your needs. Breakfast room and food was very nice as well. I strongly recommend this place!

Good location , nice sized room

Wonderful stay; our host was so gracious and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Our room was very spacious, included breakfast made to order was great too. Very close to Haymarket train and tram station but without that noise.

I really loved the interior of the building — antique in some ways, but well-maintained. Accommodations were ample and the staff were very helpful and respectful.

Very nice stay,would recommend to anyone. Transport is very close with buses and tram. Would stay again.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful, the area is quiet and just a short walk or tram away from the heart of the city. It was nice to be away from the noise of the city to sleep but still be close to explore in the day. It is an older heritage building but has everything you need to feel safe and rested.

Mrs Chan seems a lovely lady but a passive aggressive at heart. Asked us to move room for her own convenience which we accepted since we had an extremely late check in due to unforeseen circumstances and she was accommodating although threw a tantrum because we did not accept that she wanted to recycle the same bedsheets and even towels after moving us after a 2 nights stay (from a large room to a smaller room), instead of making the bed with fresh sheets and providing fresh towels. I couldn’t believe we were even having that conversation. I’ve found being rushed at breakfast, we did not like that you cannot help yourself with the hot beverages and the cooked breakfast was of extremely poor quality. Continental breakfast almost inexistent. Breakfast’s time window only from 8:30-9:30. To top the cherry on the cake, she knocked on our door at 10:35 to basically tell us to hurry up to check out as check out was at 10:30 (we weren’t told and we assumed it’d be at at least 11am) we’ve never stayed in a hotel before where check out is before 11am. The way she runs the place makes it feel more like a boot camp then a relaxing stay.and welcoming stay. In addition you can hear every sound/voice in the hallway, which Mrs Chan herself seems oblivious to as she woke us up before 8am whilst having a chat. On a positive note, the guesthouse is in a good location.

Amazing place and service, close to the center. The owner and staff make you feel better than in home. Very recomended. I will repeat.
