"Near Alhambra"

10.0

This is the hotel for people who are willing to park a mile or 2 from the hotel in order to stay in the old town and be close to all sites including the Alhambra.

"Charming hotel"

8.0

This is a great and affordable hotel option in Granada. The bus from the airport into the city drops you off pretty close, its right in the middle of everything, easy walking distance to the Al Hambra. Its located in the old Albacian part of town with cobblestone roads and a winding river right outside. important to note this place is homey. Not the most pristine and most definitely NOT quiet. We could hear our neighboring room's guests snoring and coughing, all the outside noise. Our window in our room opened directly into the lobby. For us, we loved it here but just beig transparent. Great price, great location, incredibly friendly staff, great decor but not very private or quiet.

"Lovely room, great location."

10.0

This was a great find. The hotel is in a fantastic location - just outside the main city/shopping district at the "start" of the older Albacin district, with its narrow, winding (and steep streets). It's only a few minutes walk to Plaza Nuevo and the main shopping / restaurant area. It's on a one way cobble stoned street, which is quite a local pedestrian and vehicle thoroughfare, which runs along the fast flowing stream, the Rio Darro. It looks straight up at the Alhambra. Our room had a little balcony overlooking the street, stream and Alhambra. Very picturesque! Never noisy, though the gentle noise from the river was always present. Our room was quite large, compared to other similarly priced rooms in we had in Spain. and was very nicely appointed and comfortable. Everything was always very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value and would happily recommend to friends.

"Good location, smelly drains, no in-room internet"

8.0

Room was on the small size but that's ok, wasnt planning to spend much time in the room anyway. Problem was the smell coming from the toilet if the seat cover wasnt down. so we had to make sure the lid was down and the bathroom door shut at all time. There was also no internet in the room, you have to go to the lobby common area. Location is great to get to all the Granada sites

"Cute old style area, but do you want it !!!!!"

6.0

hi this is a very quaint old style hotel in the old town, but be warned, these streets are so narrow, you can only just get a small car down them and then there are only 10 parking spaces for non residents. even tho the hotel was nice we would not have stayed here if we had know just how in accessible the whole area is to cars. stay in the normal part of Granada and walk to the old town and have a look around. Also as there are so many bars and restaurants, there is consistent noise all night shouting and cheering until 4 am in the morning.

Loved this hotel and the view of the river and Alhambra. Room 301 was beautiful and we slept with the window open to hear the bells early in the morning.

"Horrible experience and inflexibility of hotel"

2.0

HI, When we first arrived in the room, my daughter noticed that the shower area is broken whereby when one showers the floor to the surrounding area where the toilet is also situated will be terribly wet. The broken area of the shower was confirmed by the hotel staff. My concern was safety...falling. I conveyed to the staff my concern, the staff said there should be no problem, the guests before had no problem. I asked if we can move to another room, I was told the hotel is full. My other suggestion is, can we stay for the night and find another hotel for the next 2 nights as we booked the stay for 3 nights. I was told no cancellation for the next 2 nights which I am totally baffled. Then I suggested for additional towels so that I can soak up the water before wetting other parts of the bathroom and she said no. Then I suggested bringing me a mop and I will mop up the water as we( 3 of us) shower. The person that we dealt with was as rude as can be and very aggravating.

"Convenient for Alhambra and Nightlife"

6.0

We drove a hire car into Granada, and promptly got lost. Luckily, we parked in a central underground Car Park which we discovered the hotel recommends. A short taxi ride brought us to the hotel which is approached down a very narrow street immediately below Alhambra. The staff were most welcome. The room was quite large and comfortable but faced onto the street along which passing tourists made quite a noise until very late in the evening. A very pleasant hotel with an adjoining bar that apparently provided breakfast (separate payment). However, we wandered down into a nearby piazza and enjoyed breakfast amongst the locals. In summary: well located; pleasantly arranged, with helpful staff. Good value for money.
