"Great location for old style hotel"

8.0

Great old hotel in beautiful location, at the right price. Stairs to get up to reception, then elevator. Nice cafe's and terrasses along river, upstream and downstream. Would certainly stay there again.

"Beautiful Hotel with lots of character"

10.0

We had a very enjoyable over night stay in room 101 which had a lovely view and a very comfortable bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful including giving me a loan of a phone charger when I forgot mine. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant you can get an excellent breakfast/lunch/dinner/tapas/drink in the bar under the hotel, the food and drink are very good and great value for money. Look forward to visiting again.

"Beautiful hotel in great location"

I loved this hotel-it was better than I anticipated. The room was very charming and comfortable with a view of the Alhambra. Beautiful decor in a historic building right in the center of it all. Would definitely stay here again

"Recommended primarily due to the location."

6.0

IMHO, the strongest positive about this hotel is the location. It's in the old town on a one lane cobblestone street with barely enough room for a car. There are no sidewalks here, so the cars and pedestrians have to share the street. The cars are mostly taxis and small buses, and they just zoom along, so the pedestrians have jump into random doorways to avoid becoming road kill. It's actually not that dangerous and in fact is quite amusing. Also, the location is close to bars and restaurants. Finally, there is a view of the Alhambra from the front of the hotel. You are at the bottom of the hill looking up, but there it is. The hotel itself is a little funky. There is an enormous flight of stairs to get to the front desk. Once you are at the front desk, there is an elevator to the floor with your room. When you check in, you will surely not want to haul your luggage up those stairs, so the front desk person will unlock the elevator door on the ground floor for you and your luggage. Would I stay again? Probably. The room was small and the bathroom was impractical. But, this part of the town has tremendous character. BTW, if you are new to Granada, it's a great place. However, driving here is a nightmare to be avoided at all costs. Find a public garage for your car and leave it there. Take a cab from the garage to the hotel. In fact, driving in the old part of town is restricted and there are license plate cameras so you can get a ticket.

"Central, 16th century town house, lovely, quaint."

8.0

We had a lovely time here. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave good tips on bars, restaurants etc. Because the hous is built around central enclosed courtyard it echoed a bit when people came in very late but it was not a problem. Very central location in a pretty part of Granada. Would definately return.

Went to see The Alhambra. Wanted to be in the older section of town. Was able to see The Alhambra out our hotel room. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Many restaurants and trinket shops in the area.

Lovely hotel in Granada. it's located close to Alhambra and the restaurants. The front desk is helpful and informative. Love all the Andalusian decoration there. the price is a big plus too. I definitely will recommend it to everyone.
