My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Folly Hotel, the staff were very welcoming and the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ideal and just enough. We would highly recommend this hotel and the view from our room was very picturesque.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Check in details email arrived after arrival, reception area was dark and girl was surprised to see us standing there,but soon found booking .

difficult to find a parking place £ 109 seems a lot for a single bed for one night

The location was good, at the end of the High Street, next to the golf course and two minutes walk from the beach. The welcome snack basket was excellent and the small fridge was useful. The beds were comfortable.

There was no reception, which we didn’t realise until we had started our journey. We had hoped to leave our luggage until the 3pm check in time, but we had to carry it around for three hours. There was a very steep stair up to the rooms, with a handrail that stopped a few feet before the bottom. The windows were single glazed, and because of the busy road, there was a lot of traffic noise. There was no hairdryer and no teaspoons. The curtain pole and curtain fell down in the middle of the night, narrowly missing my head!

Location was excellent . A short walk from the train station and the Main Street with all the facilities very close by . View out the window over looking the west golf was lovely also. Ideal for a few days getaway .

Could not fault it. Brilliant
