My coffee maker didn’t work and there was no mirror in the bedroom

The bed was comfortable and there was a good breakfast buffet, but the room was not anywhere near the standards one would expect from a Westin/Marriott property. When I first entered the room, it looked like no one had swept the floor because I saw what seemed to be little pieces of debris scattered all about. When I examined the floor more closely, I noticed that it was, in fact, paint splatters everywhere. There were even paint splatters on the furniture and the phone (which, incidentally, did not work when I tried to use it to call the front desk). Also, the bathroom had mildew and bad stains all over the floor of the shower, and the wall next to the shower had serious water damage. The shower gel bottle affixed to the shower wall would fall off whenever I tried to pump some gel out of it. I had to hold onto the bottle to keep it from falling off. Overall, I’d say that the hotel chain should be ashamed of the condition of the room I stayed in.

The staff, breakfast, location and bed were outstanding. We were only booked for 1 night, but decided to stay a 2nd because we enjoyed it so muvh.
