Alcalá Apart Hotel

The pool temperature was too cold to actually use. The staff called the room too much. They woke us up several times. Breakfast breads were stale

Room was big and nice

Staff were a bit rude and made me pay an extra half day even though it was only 4 hours (less than a quarter day) early where every other hotel I've been to would have nust allowed me to check in slightly early. They then tried to charge an extra 100 for my partner even though I'd booked for 2 people (and even then surely the cost is per room in a 4-star hotel?) and embarrassed her in their approach. For a 4-star hotel, it was embarrassing how much they tried to charge extras wherever they could. The water was coming out if the taps were slightly brown. Charged a lot of money just for drinking water where most 4 star hotels would give free water. Breakfast was worse than the other 2 and 3 star hotels I've been to in the same city.

Big apartment with a lot of space in a good location. We had everything we needed for our stay

Furniture and room was outdated and would benefit renovation. Didn't look as great as on pictures. Breakfast was rather basic

It was a horrible stay. It was very dirty, there was mould in the sauna and we found things like a lost artificial fingernail, a needle with thread was on the floor etc. in the end we left after one night and they said they would give us the money back. We never got the money back.

The beds were comfortable

The room wasn't that clean. Paint was peeling from the ceiling. There was no hot water, and I had to ask two times that it was fixed. So I didn't get a hot shower until after two nights of my stay. The breakfast was only half decent if you got there early, and it was fully stocked. In all a rather disappointing expirence.

Spacious and clean apartment with comfortable beds. Lots of selection at breakfast. Hotel ley us leave our bags (just in reception not in a locked room) after check out while in town before our night bus. It is a 20 minute walk from town but we didn't mind that and it felt quieter at bed time

We booked this accommodation knowing it had an indoor pool and looking forward to some relaxation but it was very disappointing. It took 4 hours to heat up and after this it was only lukewarm. Calling it a pool is not an accurate description, large hot tub that is not hot. There was a small place to sit but it wasn't relaxing and you were cold after coming out. We also booked it for the fact it was an apartment and we could cook for ourselves but it lacked in utensils and when asked to use some salt and pepper from the breakfast room as the ones in the apartment were empty we were told to go to the supermarket. Everytime after the apartment was cleaned the towels were taken and not replaced so we had to continuously ask for them again.
