Breakfast was good, close to souks, jemma el fnaa

No English speaking personnel to communicate with

The ryad was central, close to the market. Included breakfast was nice, traditional moroccan pastries (a bit different each day). Our room was spacious, and had a nice Moroccan style in it.

In our room, in the shower the drain was blocked, the water flowed very slowly, so we had to be careful to shower with very little water, otherwise the water would have spilled out of the shower tray. The staff tried to unblock it, but unfortunately it didn't work, so showering every day was a bit more difficult. Unfortunately the room also had an unpleasant smell due to the blocked drain. Another issue was that the staff didn't really speak English so when we had issues with the bathroom, it was really hard to explain, what happned. Wifi was a bit weak in the rooms.

The host (speaks French only) was very nice and helpful. They offered bottle of water when check-in. Located in a small street of the Medina which is not easy to find with Google Maps. Locals always willing to show the way there because they expect “big” tips but I refused to pay the amount he demanded. The Riad locks the front door all the time which makes you feel safe. Close to the main square which is convenient. Room is reasonable size.

Location on the map was not correct. It was in the central location but Google maps did not show correct location so was difficult to find. Staff was bit slow and did not know English. The rooms were dull and it does not look the same as it is in photos.

Set just a couple of minutes walk from the main medina, yet so peaceful, this Riad is highly recommended. Greeted with traditional Morrocan tea and biscuits by the owner, who can't do enough to help. Room traditional Morrocan style with everything you need. Internet a little hit and miss, but depends on where in the Riad you are. Breakfast all you need to ser you up for the day exploring Marrakesh. If you want to experience a true Medina stay, this is perfect.

Loubna and Emma were extremely friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The place is very quiet despite being located right in the heart of the medina. Good breakfast.

The amenities could use some maintenance, it’s a bit worn-off. You don’t get the key of the house so you have to knock on the door / ring the doorbell whenever you return to the riad.
