Hotel Penzance Harbour View

Good breakfast.

I booked for a twin room, but somehow I was gotten a double room.

Vi hade ett stort rum med havsutsikt. Personalen var mycket trevliga, familjär stämning. Bra frukost. Nära tågstationen, men lugnt läge.

Allt var jättebra, men notera att hotellet ligger på en brant backe.

Habitación estupenda. Me "upgradearon" a una habitación superior ideal con vistas a St.Michaels Mount. Las amenities de la habitación excelentes. Surtido de tés, cafés solubles, hervidor, galletitas, etc.

No he tenido ningún problema, todo perfecto para mí, pero sí indicar que aún cuando está muy cerca de la estación, el hotel está ubicado en una zona elevada con fuerte pendiente de unos 50m. A tener en cuenta para personas con movilidad reducida o con mucho equipaje. Aunque hay taxis en la estación, por tanto se puede solucionar fácilmente. La recepcionista, creo que su nombre era "Joy" encantadora y amabilísima.

Nice location and breakfast was excellent.

Lack of parking space and difficult to park. Lack of mini fridge in a non air conditioned room makes it difficult to to keep cool overnight and it was only mildly warm ambient temperatures during our stay.

Location, accommodation, views, garden.

Food was mediocre as was the service.

Needs some basic maintenance, toilet flush needs fixing. Wall Pictures need aligning. Breakfast is a cheap but high impact event. Suggest abundance especially in cheap stuff, tea in tea pots, toast already cooked.

Beautiful hotel. Our bedroom had a view of the harbour that was quite nice. The bathroom had an excellent shower. The included breakfast was served in a lovely dining room. There were many delicious items featured on the buffet (pastries, fruit, etc.) and then we could also order off of the menu. The food was exceptionally well-prepared; indeed, the scrambled eggs were some of the creamiest and tastiest we’ve ever had!

The location is good in that it’s near the train station, but there is a steep hill to walk up to get to the hotel. We didn’t have a car, so rolled our carry-on bags from the train station, but going up that hill was quite a hike! Overall, the hotel is worth it, though. Just make sure you have the stamina to climb the hill (or get a taxi!).

Die Lage, das Morgenbuffet sowie die sehr netten Mitarbeiter/innen.

Das ganze Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und hat mit einem 4-Sterne-Hotel nicht mehr viel zu tun. An den Wänden blättert zum Teil die Farbe ab. Das Zimmer roch während des ganzen Aufenthaltes (2 Nächte) nach Ergrautem und nach Chlor. Sehr unangenehm. Lüften half leider nichts.
